Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You'll leave Arusha early and drive toward Tarangire National Park, which takes about two hours. Once there, a game drive gets you out spotting elephants, which roam the park in large numbers, and you'll see plenty of baobab trees scattered across the landscape. After lunch, head to your lodge for the night and settle in before dinner.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
This is a full day in Serengeti National Park where the Great Migration happens seasonally. You'll spend the entire day on game drives across the open savannas, watching for lions, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife. The scale of the park and the number of animals you can see makes this one of Africa's top wildlife destinations. Head back to your lodge by evening.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start early with a morning game drive in Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is about a three-hour drive. The drive itself offers great views as you head toward the highlands. You'll reach your lodge in the afternoon and have time to rest before dinner while looking out over this distinctive region.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Early morning, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a game drive through this natural amphitheater. The crater walls surround you as you search for wildlife in this geological formation. After your drive and lunch, you'll head back up and drive toward Arusha, where your safari ends by evening.
