Budapest
You'll arrive in Budapest and board your Scenic Space-Ship before 5:00 PM. Get yourself settled into your suite and meet the crew. This evening, you can head up on deck to see the city lights along the Danube or grab dinner in one of the ship's restaurants.

- Day 2
Mohács
The ship docks in Mohács this morning. You have three choices for the day: join a guided tour of Pécs to see the historic telephone exchange and Turkish bath, head to the Villány wine region for tastings, or visit the Zsolnay Ceramics Museum. After you return, spend the evening relaxing onboard.

Osijek
You'll dock in Osijek, a Croatian town with baroque buildings and a complicated history. Choose a walking tour through the Old Town and fortress, explore the Baranja wine region, or visit a local family for lunch with vegetables from their garden. Back on the ship by evening for dinner.

Belgrade
Belgrade comes into view this morning. You can join a walking tour of key sites, take a panoramic tour that includes Tito's Memorial, or go on a cycling tour along the Danube. In the afternoon, wander through Skardalija Street on your own, or attend the Scenic Enrich experience at St. Sava Temple.

Djerdap Gorge
Today the ship travels through the Djerdap Gorge, a dramatic natural border between Serbia and Romania with four narrow gorges, steep cliffs, and a rock carving of Decebalus. You'll spend the day in your suite or out on the Sun Deck, watching the scenery pass by and chatting with other passengers.

Svishtov to Veliko Tarnovo or Rousse
You arrive in Svishtov, Bulgaria. Pick between two options: a full-day trip to Veliko Tarnovo with panoramic views and the Asenevtsi Brothers Monument, plus the leafy village of Arbanassi, or stay on the ship for a relaxing cruise to Rousse with a walking tour and an exclusive piano recital.

Silistra
The ship docks early in Silistra, a Bulgarian town layered with history from Roman times through Turkish fortifications and war. You have three choices: a guided walking tour of Silistra Fort, a visit to Alfatar Village with its ethnographic museum and children's choir performance, or an exploration of the ancient Thracian Tomb of Sveshtari.

Bucharest
You disembark and travel by coach to Bucharest. The orientation tour takes you through Union Square, University Square, Roman Square, Victory Square and Charles de Gaulle Square. Then pick between two options: visit Ceausescu's Spring Palace or the Village Open Air Museum. Dine with other guests this evening.

After breakfast, you'll travel from Bucharest north to Sibiu, a medieval town in Transylvania. Check in at your hotel and have dinner at a local restaurant with your fellow travellers.

Sighisoara to Brasov
In Sighisoara, you can either explore the World Heritage-listed walled city with a local guide (built by Saxons between the 12th and 17th centuries) or hike the covered stairway up to the 14th century Church on the Hill for great city views. From there, head to Brasov and check in for a two-night stay.

Brasov
Your guide takes you through Brasov, pointing out the gothic spires, medieval watchtowers, large squares and soviet-era buildings. In the afternoon, head to Bran Castle, a 14th century white stone fortress on a clifftop with narrow passageways, hidden rooms and sunny courtyards. Dinner at one of Brasov's better restaurants with the group.

Peles Castle and Sinaia
After breakfast, your guide brings you to Peles Castle, a neo-classical building from the 1870s with beautifully decorated rooms, paintings, carved wood and stained glass. Stop by nearby Sinaia Monastery, the region's oldest with churches from the 17th and 19th centuries. In the afternoon, travel back to Bucharest for an overnight stay.
