What our customers ask about this tour

Asked on June 17th, 2024I remain interested in the cruise from Budapest to Bucharest but remain very confused by the frequent price changes. Naturally one of my major concerns is the cost for a single supplement causing me to reconsider my options. A definitive cost breakdown relevant to me would be helpful. In addition, previously I had spoken via telephone to one of your reps who assured me of getting back to me with clear infromation related to requested land transport costs from Budapest city to the port and likewise from Bucharest (port) to the city centre of Bucharest. As a solo traveller, this is a must for me and certainly a cost consideration.

For the pricing, we have provided you a quote in the cheapest cabin available on the 21st of October 2024. The total price in cabin category F (150 sq ft, half-height picture window) - Single would be AU$13,590. Regarding transfers from Budapest city to the port and vice versa, please note that Viking Cruises cannot arrange transfers unless they are from/to the airport on day of embarkation and day of disembarkation. If you are looking to be picked up from the city to head to the port on the first day of the cruise, we do suggest you check local taxis or third parties online that provide you with pricing.

Asked on March 19th, 2023What is cost of single supplement for July 3, July 17 & July 31
- Viking CruisesOperator•Written March 2023
We are excited to have you travel with us. The ship that will be sailing on the Jul 3 - Jul 13, 2023 is known as the Viking Lofn. We see limited availability in the Standard E Cabin Category as well as the Cabin French Balcony C. If you could kindly let us know which cabin category you would want pricing on.

Asked on July 26th, 2022At the end of the cruise in Bucharest can it be extended with an addition of two days or three days to visit Transylvania and if so what would be the cost per person in New Zealand Dollars and can you provide a tour brochure
- Viking CruisesOperator•Written July 2022
We have sent you a brochure of this tour. In regards to extending the cruise, I'm afraid this is not an option, however, we offer multiple Transylvania tours on our website
