- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive at your hotel in Arusha and get settled in whenever works best for you. This evening, there's a welcome meeting where you'll meet your CEO and the other travelers joining the group for the next week.

Karatu
After breakfast, a private vehicle takes you to Tarangire National Park for a safari drive. You'll have chances to spot elephants, baobab trees, and other wildlife around the Tarangire River. There's a picnic lunch in the park, then you head to Karatu for the evening.

Karatu
The morning is yours to relax at the hotel in Karatu. In the afternoon, you'll do a hands-on coffee farm tour where you learn about how beans get harvested and try your hand at sorting and roasting them. Dinner happens back at your hotel.

Serengeti National Park
You'll start early and head to Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife safari drive through this volcanic caldera. The ecosystem there is self-contained with lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. After lunch in the park, you continue to Serengeti National Park through Naabi Hill Gate, then settle in at your tented camp as the sun sets.

Serengeti National Park
If you want, set your alarm early for an optional balloon safari to see the Serengeti from the air. After breakfast, you'll spend the full day on a safari drive scanning for wildlife and listening to bird calls. There's a picnic lunch in the park, and by evening you're back at camp to relax under the stars.

Arusha
Breakfast happens at camp before you start the drive back toward Arusha. You'll stop at Mto wa Mbu, a community initiative supported by G Adventures, for lunch. You arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, check into your hotel, and dinner is on your own tonight.

Zanzibar
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Arusha airport and fly to Zanzibar. When you arrive, there's an orientation walk through Stone Town's historic streets. From there, you head to Jambiani, grab lunch at a local restaurant, and have free time to settle into island life before choosing where to eat dinner.

Zanzibar
You'll head out on an included spice tour to learn about Zanzibar's history and the spice plantations from the 1840s. The rest of the day is free, so you can pre-book snorkeling, visit Jozani Forest with a guide, or just relax on the beach. Dinner is your choice this evening.

Departure
After breakfast at your hotel in Jambiani, you'll get a group transfer back to Zanzibar airport outside Stone Town. You should arrive by 11:30 AM where your tour finishes up.
