Medan
You'll arrive in Sumatra and meet up with your group and CEO for a welcome meeting that evening. After introductions, head out to a local bar in town to grab a beer or fresh juice and get to know everyone while starting to take in Indonesia.

Medan
Take a city tour of Medan using becaks (those Indonesian cycle rickshaws). You'll see the Al-Mashun Great Mosque and Maimun Palace, walk through an ancient Chinese temple, wander the bustling local market, then sit down for family-style Padang lunch with the group. The rest of your day is open to explore Medan on your own.

Medan to Bukit Lawang
After breakfast, drive west toward Bukit Lawang, a jungle village where you'll arrive in the afternoon. Check into your hotel and have free time to relax or check out the area. There's an optional local cooking class if you're interested in learning some Indonesian dishes.

Bukit Lawang
Start your jungle trek into Gunung Leuser National Park looking for orangutans and other wildlife. You'll hike for about 6 to 7 hours through one of the world's richest rainforests, stopping for a picnic lunch and to spot animals along the way. End the day at a jungle campsite where dinner is prepared by locals over a fire.

Bukit Lawang
Day two in the jungle means hiking a different trail through Gunung Leuser National Park to look for more orangutans. After a riverside lunch, you'll float back to Bukit Lawang by inner tube and traditional raft. Later, you'll have free time to relax, visit the Bat Cave, or explore town. Tonight's your Big Night Out with the crew at a jungly bar.

Bukit Lawang
Bukit Lawang is yours to do what you want. Pick a full-day white water rafting adventure, cycle through jungly bamboo homes and rural villages, or explore the town on your own. This is your chance to really get out there and do what excites you.

Bukit Lawang to Medan
Leave Bukit Lawang for Medan, but stop at Kampung Lama along the way. This village is where Malay, Javanese, and Bataknese communities live side by side. You'll have local snacks and drinks, try your hand at making traditional coconut leaf crafts and local games, have lunch, and spend time on the farm before returning to Medan for the night.

Medan to Canggu
Fly from Sumatra to Bali and continue to Canggu, the beach town where you'll be staying. Your evening is free to wander around and explore this lively area at your own pace.

Canggu
Experience surfing in Bali with a lesson that works for all skill levels. Start on the beach learning the basics, then paddle out with instructors to practice in the water. After the lesson wraps up, the rest of your day is yours to rent a board and keep practicing, relax on the beach, or grab a beer at a local warung.

Canggu to Bulian
Head north from Canggu to Bulian, stopping first at Ulun Danu Temple which sits right on the edge of Lake Beratan. Once you reach Bulian, you'll be welcomed with a drink and lunch. Later, trek through waterfalls and rice fields, learn to make Balinese offerings, and join a local priest for a temple ceremony.

Bulian
You have a free day in Bulian to choose what appeals to you. Trek to Lemukih Village to see durian plantations, rice terraces, coffee fields, waterfalls and natural waterslides, or take a bike tour through Northern Bali to explore the region on two wheels.

Bulian to Kintamani
Start your morning in Bulian however you like. Sleep in, join a local cooking class, or try a sunrise fishing trip. Then drive to Kintamani at the base of Mt Batur, arriving at a campsite with hot spring pools. Soak in the hot springs and sit around the campfire for a cozy camping night.

Landmarks Mount Batur - Day 13
Kintamani to Ubud
Wake before dawn for a 2-hour trek to Mt Batur's summit to catch the sunrise with a picnic breakfast. After hiking back down, have a proper breakfast and soak in the hot springs. Drive to Ubud and stop at the G Adventures-supported PKP Community to meet women leaders, see the garden, and enjoy local lunch. Your afternoon is free to explore Ubud, then join your group and CEO for your Big Night Out in town.
