The Moroccan guide was a disappointment, Chefchouen and Fes wonderful, not sure why we went all the way to Marrakech for more of the same, and the tired hotel didn’t help. - Brendan· May 20th, 2023This is really a review of Intrepid's response to my situation, not of the tour, which was going quite well. I was four days into Madrid to Marrakech when I tested positive for Covid. At that point I was left to fend for myself. The group were moving to Lisbon the following morning. I was told by the group leader I'd need to abandon the tour for five days, after which I could rejoin, but by then they were going to be in Morocco. I was offered no assistance in organizing my extraction, and was instead referred to my insurance provider. They, Allianz, also proved inept and uninterested. I did quickly navigate my way out of this disaster, but I've learned now where Intrepid's caring and expertise end. - NPNan· July 15th, 2022Madrid to Marrakech was fabulous. There were four in my family, oldest 78 and youngest 18, and we were joined by three Aussies and three New Yorkers. There were times it was a struggle so I recommend you pack lightly. There were a number of times lifting my suitcase up stairs while carrying my backpack was difficult and made me question why I needed so much stuff. The guides were all really good, caring and considerate.
