Itinerary
- Day 1
Cochin to Munnar
You'll get picked up from Cochin airport or the railway station and head toward Munnar. During the drive, there's a stop at Cheeyapara and Valara waterfalls, so you can stretch and take some photos. Once you arrive in Munnar, the day opens up for visiting Eravikulam National Park to see the Nilgiri Tahr and rolling hills, then move on to Mattupetty Dam and Echo-Point. If you've got time before checking into your treehouse hotel, the tea factory and flower garden are worth a quick look around.

- Day 2
Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast, you'll travel to Thekkady and settle into your hotel. From there, head out to Periyar National Park, which protects a significant portion of Kerala's wildlife and plant species. In the afternoon, you can go through a spice plantation where workers show how they grow, harvest, and dry spices like cardamom and pepper. Your evening opens up, so you can either catch a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu show (costs extra) or hit the local shops for souvenirs and crafts.

- Day 3
Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, you'll check out and drive to Alleppey to board a traditional houseboat for a 21-hour backwater cruise starting around midday. From the deck or sitting areas, you'll watch how locals fish and live along the canals and lagoons. The boat comes with a welcome drink right when you board, then lunch, dinner, and breakfast arrive according to the schedule. Throughout the day you'll also get evening tea, coffee, and snacks while floating through the quiet waterways.

- Day 4
Alleppey to Cochin
After breakfast, you'll leave the houseboat and head to Kumarakom for the morning. Stop by the Bird Sanctuary to spot migratory and local species around the water, then check out the driftwood museum if you're interested in the local art. Later, you'll drive to Cochin to walk through Fortkochi beach and the Paradesi Synagogue, plus see the Chinese Fishing Nets working if timing allows. By late afternoon or early evening, you'll head to Cochin Airport or Railway Station to finish your trip.
