- Van· October 14th, 2025My first trip to India, and I was traveling alone as a woman. Booking this tour was a great decision! The highlights were the houseboat tour in Alleppey, the jeep safari in Munnar, and exploring Cochin city. The tour was very well organized, everything went smoothly, and the driver was courteous, respectful, and always tried to make sure I was happy. The hotel rooms were large, spacious, and clean, with good bathrooms. A few small things I noticed during the tour: the driver’s English skills were basic, so communication was sometimes limited, and he couldn’t always explain additional activities. For the first few days, it felt more like a coffee tour. I would also skip Thekkady and the elephant ride — the landscape is beautiful, but the elephants’ behavior is concerning. If you book this tour, make sure to organize enough cash in advance, as many extras need to be paid in cash and some hotels do not accept credit cards.Show moreTrip date: June 2025

The highlight was the houseboat a little rustic, but full of charm. Be prepared for some walking when visiting the tea plantations, and keep in mind that Kerala is a dry state, so getting a beer can be difficult.
