- Day 1
Darwin
You'll arrive in Darwin and get straight into the region's Indigenous culture. Head to Aboriginal Bush Traders to sample native foods and check out Indigenous art on display. After that, take a walking tour through Darwin's historic landmarks like Parliament House and Government House to get a sense of the city's colonial past.

Darwin to Kakadu National Park
Start early with a scenic cruise through Corroboree Billabong Wetland where you'll spot crocodiles and various birdlife. Then travel into Kakadu National Park to see cascading waterfalls, rainforests, and wetlands up close. Later, stop by Murrawaddi Art Gallery to learn how Indigenous stories get told through traditional artworks.

Kakadu National Park
You have the option to take a scenic flight at sunrise over Kakadu if you'd like (that's at your own cost). After landing, you'll have leisure time for lunch and to rest. In the afternoon, board the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise along the East Alligator River where Aboriginal guides share traditional knowledge while you watch for wildlife and learn about local customs.

Landmarks/POIs East Alligator River - Day 4
Kakadu National Park to Katherine
Begin with a guided tour of Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) Rock Art where your driver guide explains the site's stories and significance. From there, you'll travel toward Katherine with a stop in Pine Creek to walk around gold rush heritage buildings and old mining sites from the 1800s. By evening you'll arrive at Cicada Lodge, your base in Nitmiluk National Park.

Katherine
Have a leisurely breakfast, then head out mid-morning to soak in the thermal waters at Katherine Hot Springs. You'll have the afternoon free in Katherine to do as you like. Later, hop on a sunset dinner cruise along Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge where towering cliffs and ancient rock formations frame the water around you. Return to Cicada Lodge after dinner.

Katherine to Darwin
After breakfast, you'll leave Cicada Lodge for your final activity. Travel to Leliyn (Edith) Falls in Nitmiluk National Park for a swim under cascading waterfalls (water levels vary by season). Then it's back north up the Stuart Highway toward Darwin where your tour concludes.
