Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana to Gjirokastër
You'll start with a coastal drive south from Tirana, heading down to Porto Palermo Bay where Ali Pasha Castle sits above the Ionian Sea. There's time to look around the castle and take in the views before continuing to Sarandë for lunch. After eating, it's on to Ksamil where you can see the white sand beaches and clear water, then you'll stop at the Blue Eye natural spring before wrapping up in Gjirokastër for the evening, a UNESCO site built on a hilltop.

- Day 2
Gjirokastër to Berat
Following breakfast, you'll head to Gjirokastër Castle, one of the larger fortifications in the Balkans with views across the valley. Walking through the Old Town's cobblestone streets, you'll visit Zekate House to see the Ottoman design. In the afternoon, it's a drive to Berat, another UNESCO location known for its homes built into hillsides. You'll tour Berat Castle and then walk the historic neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica with their narrow lanes and white buildings.

- Day 3
Berat to Ohrid to Tirana
You'll leave Berat and drive through mountain terrain toward Ohrid in North Macedonia. Lake Ohrid, one of Europe's oldest and deepest lakes, is your main stop, and you can walk around Ohrid Old Town seeing the charming streets and historic sites. The Church of St. John at Kaneo is positioned right on a lakeside cliff and worth seeing. There's free time to walk the waterfront, pick up local goods, or take an optional boat ride if it appeals to you. After that, it's the drive back to Tirana where the tour finishes up.
