Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Salzburg
You'll arrive at Salzburg Airport where your driver will be waiting for you. The transfer takes you to your hotel in Salzburg, and check-in opens at 14:00. Spend the rest of the afternoon getting settled into your room and familiarizing yourself with the hotel facilities at your own pace.

Berchtesgaden Salt Mine & Obersalzberg
After breakfast, head to the meeting point near your hotel to join the group tour. You'll board a coach heading to Obersalzberg and the Berchtesgaden Salt Mine. Once there, you'll change into authentic miner's clothes and go down into the mine to see a massive salt lake and the illuminated underground salt mining areas. After coming back up, you have time to wander around the town of Berchtesgaden on your own.

- Day 3
Eagle's Nest (Kehlsteinhaus)
Following breakfast, walk to the meeting point to catch your 08:45 group tour departure. The coach takes you higher into the Bavarian Alps, crossing over into Germany. At Obersalzberg, you'll go through a tunnel in the mountain and ride a brass elevator up to the summit where Eagle's Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) sits. After exploring the historic building and seeing the famous fireplace room, you'll have time to take in the views across the Bavarian and Austrian Alps.

Salzburg Old Town Walking Tour
Have breakfast, then head to the meeting point near your hotel for a 2-hour walking tour with your group. You'll learn why Salzburg earned its reputation as the City of Music while seeing important monuments, churches, and historical sites around the city. The tour includes the Mirabell Gardens, where scenes from The Sound of Music were filmed, and the Old Town with its views of the Salzach River. You'll also stop at Mozart's former home and birthplace to understand more about the city's musical legacy.

Departure from Salzburg
After breakfast, meet your driver for the transfer to Salzburg Airport. You need to check out of your hotel by 12:00 noon. Plan your pickup for no later than 4 hours before your flight departs so you have plenty of time to get to the airport.
