    Embarkation

    You'll board your Danube cruise ship and get settled into your luxury stateroom. Dinner happens onboard this evening, so you can relax after checking in and get familiar with the ship before things get going tomorrow.

  2. Day 2

    Nuremberg

    Nuremberg gives you choices depending what interests you. The medieval side includes the castle and market square, or if history appeals more, check out WWII sites like the Documentation Center and Trials Memorial. Food lovers can try traditional Franconian dishes and local beer instead. After you're done exploring, the ship cruises through the Main-Danube Canal heading toward Regensburg.

    Regensburg

    In Regensburg, you can join a guided walk through the medieval old town, or if you prefer something more active, take a bike tour out to Walhalla temple. There's also time to sample Bavarian beer, sausage and pretzels if you want to skip the tours and just enjoy the local food scene.

If outdoor activity appeals, you can bike along the Inn River or hike up to Veste Oberhaus Fortress for views over the city.

    Melk and Wachau Valley

    Melk Abbey comes first, and this UNESCO site is one of Europe's largest monasteries with impressive frescoes and music manuscripts. You'll choose between a standard tour or a hiking approach to get there. After that, either walk through the charming town of Dürnstein or bike through the scenic Wachau Valley, then the ship continues through the vineyard-lined valley later in the afternoon.

The afternoon shifts to Pest where you'll see the Hungarian Parliament Building, Heroes' Square, and the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial honoring those lost during WWII.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
