Traveler•Written October 2024What is included in day pack and what will be the weight?
- Quatre NaturesOperator•Written October 2024
All personal bags and food are transferred from one shelter to another. During the day hike, only one bag is kept. Inside, we have to put our coat, water bottle, sun cream, mosquito-hunting and snack.

Unfortunately we had to cancel this trip because we don't have enough participants. The next one will be in winter.

Asked on August 8th, 2024Which airport should i fly into? If Montreal, what would be the cost to travel to the day 1 meeting location? How often the bus run and time it takes to from Montreal to meeting location? Is it a camping trip? Would we be hiking with only the 'Daypack'? How would the rest of the luggage be transferred to next day accommodation? Is there a vegetarian option? Are there going to be more than one person in the accommodation? On the last day, would we be back in Quebec and at what time? How would i get to the airport for the flight back to California and at what time?
- Quatre NaturesOperator•Written August 2024
You can fly into either Montreal or Quebec City, with the latter being more convenient. If you arrive in Montreal, there is a bus from the airport to downtown Quebec City with multiple departures daily. This hiking trip is not a camping trip but a rustic cabin experience. These cabins have solar-powered electricity for lighting, dry toilets, and dormitory-style sleeping arrangements. The cabins will be reserved exclusively for the hiking group. You only need a small backpack, as all other equipment and food will be transported by ATV. Vegetarian meals are available if you let us know at the time of booking. On the last day, we typically arrive in Quebec City around 3-4 PM. We can drop you off at the bus station or the airport.

Traveler•Written August 2024What is the 3 digit Quebec city airport? How far is the 'Quebec City' from the 'Quebec City' airport, and the means of transportation available? If flew into Montreal, how long does it take to get to the 'Quebec City'? Do you recommend any hotel near the starting point? Does the day 1 starting point has an address? Is this trip 100% guaranteed?
- Quatre NaturesOperator•Written August 2024
The Quebec City airport code is YQB. It's not very far from downtown, about a 25-minute drive. Public bus service isn't very convenient, so the easiest way to get there is by taxi, with a flat rate of $42. The drive from Montreal to Quebec City takes about 3 hours. The August departure is confirmed, but the September one is not yet finalized as we still need a few more registrations. If the departure doesn't happen, you'll receive a 100% refund. For hotels, we work with several that we could recommend in Old Quebec.

Traveler•Written August 2024I can only make the trip starting Sep 15. Pls keep me posted when there are enough participants signed up. The Taxi fare ($42) from Quebec airport to the Quebec city is in US Dollar or Canadian? The last day do we come back to the 'Quebec City', If do around what time?
- Quatre NaturesOperator•Written August 2024
I will keep you informed about the trip registrations. The taxi fare is in CAD. The group should return around 4 PM on the last day.
