You'll arrive in Nairobi and get picked up from the airport for your transfer. Take some time to settle into your hotel and get familiar with Kenya's capital. This is a good day to rest after your flight and maybe grab dinner somewhere nearby to start adjusting to the local time.

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Head out from Nairobi in a 4x4 safari vehicle for the drive to Amboseli National Park. Along the way you'll start seeing different landscapes and wildlife. By evening you'll reach your safari lodge or tented camp and get your first taste of the park's atmosphere.

Landmarks Amboseli National Park - Day 3
Amboseli National Park
You've got the whole day to explore Amboseli with your guide. Multiple game drives throughout the day mean plenty of chances to spot elephants, lions, and other wildlife. The park's backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro makes for great views during morning and afternoon drives.

Transfer from Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park in your safari vehicle. You'll continue spotting wildlife during the drive itself, and by late afternoon you'll arrive at your new accommodation. Tsavo East is much larger and has different terrain, so the landscape will shift quite a bit from what you saw before.

Landmarks Tsavo East National Park - Day 5
Tsavo East National Park to Mombasa
Leave Tsavo East and drive toward Mombasa on the coast. The scenery changes from savanna to more coastal vegetation as you get closer. You'll transition from safari life to your beach resort by evening, so this day feels like a shift in pace for your trip.

Landmarks Tsavo East National Park - Day 6
Mombasa
You have the day to yourself at the beach resort. Relax by the ocean, swim, or if you feel like exploring, head into Mombasa to check out the local shops and restaurants. It's your choice how you spend the time after several days of early morning game drives.

Mombasa

Departure
