Airport to Munich
You'll get picked up at Munich Airport and head to your hotel. Later in the evening, you'll meet the other travelers and your Tour Director at a Welcome Reception to get started.

Munich
A guided tour takes you around Munich, where you'll see the Glockenspiel on the Town Hall and the historic Frauenkirche church. The afternoon is free for you to do your own thing, and then there's a special dinner in the evening.

Munich to Passau
After breakfast, you'll board a coach heading to Passau where your river ship is docked on the Danube. That evening there's another Welcome Reception on board with the other travelers.

Passau
Walking through Passau's old town on a guided tour, you'll see the cobbled streets and historic buildings. Then it's off to Aldersbach brewery, which dates back to 1268, for a tour, food tastings, local beer, and live music in the festival hall.

Linz
It's your choice how to spend this day. You can relax in Linz, or pick from two optional excursions, either to Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic with its medieval architecture, or to Salzburg to see the church from The Sound of Music and Mozart's hometown.

You'll visit Melk Abbey, an active Benedictine monastery since 1089, and then cruise through the Wachau Valley to Dürnstein. The afternoon there is free to explore, and you can optionally join a wine tasting at Dürnstein Abbey to try local Grüner Veltliner or Riesling.

The Naschmarkt is open for browsing, or you can attend an optional Mozart and Strauss concert.
