- Day 1
Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik airport and catch an individual Flybus shuttle to your hotel in Reykjavik. If your arrival time works out, there's opportunity to walk around the capital and get a feel for the city before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Reykjanes Peninsula - Hella
Meeting your guide at 9:00 am, you'll tour Reykjavik's main sights and then head out to the Reykjanes Peninsula. The day takes you through hot springs, bird cliffs, and small fishing villages. You'll then spend time at the Blue Lagoon before traveling to Hella. Later, your guide talks through Northern Lights basics and you'll prepare for aurora hunting as evening sets in.

Eyjafjallajökull Region
Traveling south along the coast toward Eyjafjallajökull volcano, you'll see Seljalandsfoss waterfall and walk behind the falls. The Skógar Folk Museum shows historic turf houses and artifacts, and then you reach Skógafoss waterfall. From there, you can either do an optional glacier hike at Sólheimajökull or continue to Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. Back at your hotel, there's a Northern Lights presentation in the evening with viewing opportunities from the grounds.

Þingvellir National Park
Today covers the Golden Circle route. You start learning about Icelandic horses and their characteristics, then stop at a geothermal greenhouse to see how locals grow fresh produce using natural heat. Next, the Geysir geothermal fields let you see active hot springs and geysers. Gullfoss waterfall comes next, a double cascade dropping into a deep canyon. Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO site, shows you the tectonic rift and tells the story of Iceland's ancient Viking Parliament. An optional Northern Lights cruise is available this evening.

Reykjavik
This day is entirely yours to spend in Reykjavik as you like. Stroll down the main shopping streets, check out one of the many museums, or settle into a cozy café for some downtime. The pace is completely up to you.

Ísafjörður
Setting off early heading west with your guide, you'll climb Grábók, a 3,400-year-old volcanic crater with views across the landscape from the top. After lunch in the coastal town of Búðardalur, you continue along the Ísafjardardfjúp fjords and might spot whales along the way. Litlibaer, one of Iceland's last turf houses, is now a café and museum worth visiting. You'll reach Ísafjörður in the Westfjords for a three-night stay. Darkness falls early, so Northern Lights viewing begins soon after arrival.

Dynjandi - Ísafjörður
Dynjandi waterfall is the main attraction today, with its tiered water dropping into the fjord. You'll travel along the coast and fjords to the pier at Örundarfjörður, which sits against a golden beach with mountains behind it. After a nature walk, you'll have a meal and wander through Ísafjörður's colorful houses and cobblestone streets. Once evening comes, you head out again hoping to catch the Northern Lights.

Flateyri - Ísafjörður
The Ósvor Maritime Museum is a restored 19th-century fishing hut showing how tough life was for Icelandic fishermen in remote villages using only rowboats. From there, Flateyri is your next stop, and you'll visit Gamla bókabuðin, a bookstore that's been operating since 1914 with unique souvenirs and traditional craftsmanship. You'll see Flateyri's history and the avalanche protection fences built to protect the town. Later, take a stroll under the Arctic sky with hopes of seeing the Northern Lights.

Vogur
You'll visit Hólmavík and explore the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft, which holds ancient grimoires, ritual objects, and magical staves. After that, head to Vogur Country Lodge in West Iceland, a good spot for Northern Lights hunting. Staying alert during the evening, you'll watch the skies for a chance to see the Aurora Borealis.

Borgarnes - Reykjavik
The Settlement Center in Borgarnes has exhibitions spread across a warehouse, merchant house, and reception hall that explain early settlement in Iceland. Moving south to Reykjavik, you'll see the city's historic spots and landmarks like Hallgrímskirkja church, the University, and the harbor with colorful fishing boats and mountain backdrops. The Harpa Concert Hall is an architectural highlight on the waterfront. Before you go, try Iceland's famous fermented shark and toast with Brennivín as a final send-off.

Your last morning brings an individual Flybus shuttle transfer from your Reykjavik accommodation to Keflavik airport for departure. The distance is 50km/31mi, so allow enough time before your flight.
