Grand Egyptian Museum
Your guide picks you up from your hotel this morning and takes you straight to the Grand Egyptian Museum. You'll skip the entrance lines and head inside to see King Tutankhamun's complete treasure collection, which includes everything from his burial chamber. The Great Staircase of the Kings and the colossal statue of King Ramses II are both there too, and your Egyptologist guide provides context and details about each piece as you walk through. After you've spent a few hours exploring the museum, you'll head to lunch at a local restaurant. Then it's back to your hotel by early afternoon.
