- Day 1
Arrival in Northern Italy
Your Northern Italy adventure kicks off today. You'll be traveling through some of the region's standout destinations, from vineyards to Venice and Verona. Get settled into your accommodations and take time to prepare for the week that's ahead.
- Day 2
Treviso
You'll arrive in Treviso, known as the birthplace of tiramisu and offering a quieter charm compared to Venice. Check in at your hotel in the city center where you'll be staying for the next seven nights. Since arrival times vary, there's no organized sightseeing scheduled. Later this evening, meet the other travelers at dinner while a local pastry chef shows you how to make authentic tiramisu from scratch.

Treviso
A guided walking tour takes you through Treviso's Old Town, where you'll see gothic-style windows, marble latticework, and waterways that echo Venice's character. After that, the rest of the day is yours. Check out the weekly vegetable market, walk along Canale dei Buranelli, or wander through the historic pescheria where fishmongers have worked for generations. Lunch is on your own schedule.

Verona
A two-hour bus ride brings you to Verona, the city forever linked with Romeo and Juliet. You get to choose how to explore, either joining a guided walking tour through the Old Town to see painted houses or heading out on your own along the riverbanks to spot bridges and lesser-known sites. Either way, you'll come across Juliet's balcony and the impressive ancient Roman amphitheater called the Arena. There's free time after lunch (which you'll grab on your own) before heading back to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Venice
The coach takes you toward Venice, then you switch to a boat to reach the heart of the island city. Watch a local craftsperson show how Venice's glassblowing tradition works and has been perfected over centuries. You'll spend time near St. Mark's Square taking in the ornate Gothic design of Doge's Palace and the Basilica. The rest of the day is open for you to wander around at your own pace.

Asolo and Prosecco Region
Head to Asolo, a hilltop village that earned the title of Italy's Most Beautiful Village. Start with an orientation walk to get the lay of the land, then you have free time to explore on your own, following the paths of famous figures like Ernest Hemingway and Robert Browning who were drawn there. Later, travel into the Prosecco region's rolling hills to visit a vineyard where you'll taste the local sparkling wine. An Italian nonna teaches you how to make traditional pasta, and then you'll eat the pasta you made paired with wine. You'll return to the hotel late in the evening.

Dolomites and Cortina
You'll spend the full day in the Dolomites, which UNESCO recognizes as one of the world's most beautiful mountain ranges. The drive winds through mountains for a couple of hours before stopping at Lake Misurina for views of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo. After lunch near the lake, you'll reach Cortina, known as the Pearl of the Dolomites. Free time allows you to explore, and if weather cooperates, a cable-car ride up Mount Faloria gives you panoramic views before returning to the hotel.

Bassano del Grappa and Venetian Villa
Travel to Bassano del Grappa, a town known for producing grappa, the grape-based schnapps. Walk through cobblestoned piazzas and learn about grappa's role in shaping the town, including an ancient distillery housed in the historic Palladian Bridge. Grab lunch on your own. This evening, step back in time at a classical Venetian villa still owned by descendants of a noble Venetian family. Tour the villa and its gardens, then gather for a farewell dinner featuring Venetian dishes made with fresh local ingredients.
