Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025Travelers over 75 years old are welcome to join our tours, including those who are 80. However, it's important to note that our itineraries can include long days, walking tours (sometimes on uneven ground), and steps or stairs at certain accommodations. As such, all travelers must be fit and mobile enough to manage independently, without assistance from the Tour Leader or fellow passengers.

Most optional excursions for this tour are booked directly during the trip, with only a few labeled as 'pre-book' being available in advance. Currently, only two excursions can be pre-booked: Viking Village and Norwegian Fjords Cruise, and Stockholm - Helsinki Overnight Ferry Dinner.

If booking for a tour within this year, there is a possibility that the seats might be sold out after you book your flights. However, seeing that your interested departure is late 2025, you can choose to secure your flights first if you like.

Traveler•Written September 2024Since I will be booking my flight to Copenhagen two ways, I would like to confirm that the departure & end date is already fixed 100% (14 June ~ 4 July for 2025) & there will not be any changes until the journey. The normal hotel pickup point at Copenhagen. We are 2 seniors so we would like to plan very early possibly 6 months ahead. I heard that Expat Explore will only notify hotel pickup point normally 90 days before the departure. Please just give normal hotel pickup point as of now or at least the area if naming the hotel not possible right now. Hoping the pickup point will be walkable from the metro station in Copenhagen.

Yes, you definitely can request for tour changes or date changes for a confirmed booking. As long as the request to change is sent at least 76 Days (for standard coach tours) or 91 Days (for tours that has internal flights or cruises included) then the tour change will not result to any fees. What will happen is that your booking will then be changed to the new tour and the cost is also going to be based on the current website price (at the time of request) of the new tour, but your payments will still be applied.

Whilst internal flights are covered for certain itineraries, you will have to make your way to the meeting point for the start of your tour. When booking flights be mindful of departure times and possible delays.
Tip: We suggest that you start comparing prices the moment your deposit is paid to avoid costly flights.
