Kings Canyon
Starting early, you'll travel from Ayers Rock Resort toward Kings Canyon with a breakfast stop at Kings Creek Station, where you'll learn about the station's history and how it supports Aboriginal communities. Next comes your choice: either take on a challenging 6km rim walk around 3 hours long with steep, rocky sections (you'll need solid fitness for this), which offers spectacular views of Watarrka National Park and possibly the Garden of Eden waterhole, or opt for the easier creek bed walk exploring the canyon floor and native plants instead.
