Puerto Madryn
Land in Puerto Madryn and get settled into your accommodation. You've got the rest of the day free to walk around, grab some food, and get oriented with the town. It's a good chance to relax after travel and see what's nearby without any scheduled activities.

Península Valdés Excursion
Eat breakfast early, then you'll be picked up at 7:30am for a full-day trip to Península Valdés. Start at the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus Interpretation Centre to learn about the local wildlife and plants. From there, you'll head to several spots including Puerto Pirámide, Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor, and Punta Norte. Keep an eye out for marine elephants, penguins, sea lions, and if you're lucky, orcas depending on the season. You'll get back to Puerto Madryn by evening.

Punta Tombo Penguin Colony
Have breakfast and meet your pickup at 7:30am for the Punta Tombo penguin colony excursion. You'll start at Rawson port's Union Beach to spot dolphins, then head to Punta Tombo where thousands of Magallanes penguins gather. After that, you'll visit the town of Gaiman to see its Welsh architecture and have traditional Welsh cake and tea at a local tea house. It's a nice mix of wildlife and cultural sightseeing all in one day.

My friend and I signed up for this tour and were very pleased with it. The company itself was very flexible and arranged for us to be collected from airport on the Brazilian side of the falls and taken to the hostel on the Argentinean side before the tour began. They also arranged for us to transferred to the airport on the Argentinean side of the falls on the second night and adjusted the cost accordingly. We do however have a complaint in respect of the accommodation as although we paid an additional fee for a private room, the safe in this room did not work nor was there any hot water in the private room although there was in the shared bathroom.
