- Day 1
Cape Town
You'll arrive in Cape Town and check into your hotel mid-afternoon, giving you time to drop your bags and get oriented to the city. This is a good opportunity to rest up after traveling and maybe take a walk around the neighborhood to see what's nearby.

Cape Town
Start the day with a skip-the-line cable car ride up Table Mountain where you'll see 360-degree views of the city and coastline spread out below. From there, head to the V&A Waterfront to walk around the shops, grab lunch or a snack, and check out the restaurants and entertainment options. Later you'll return to the hotel for a guided walking tour through the gardens, then sit down for a welcome dinner featuring local beer and wine.

Cape Point
Drive along Chapman's Peak Drive heading south to Cape Point Nature Reserve, stopping to see the Cape of Good Hope. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll head to Boulders Beach to see the endangered African penguins up close. The evening is free, so you can relax back at your hotel.

The whole day is yours to spend however you'd like using what's included.

Stellenbosch
You'll spend the day at Lanzerac resort with plenty of options to choose from. The included amenities cover wine tasting and cellar tours, so you can learn about the vineyard's production methods and sample different varieties. The spa's hydro facility is also part of your stay, which gives you access to relaxation pools and treatments. If you'd rather get out and explore, a complimentary shuttle takes you into nearby Stellenbosch for shopping and dining options throughout the day. There's also a food tour available if you want to dig deeper into local cuisine, though that costs extra. The pace here is entirely up to you, so you can mix relaxation with exploration however you prefer.

Winelands to Hermanus
Drive toward the coast with stops in Betty's Bay and at scenic viewpoints where you might spot Southern Right Whales during their season. They often come close to shore in this area. You'll arrive in Hermanus, known as the whale watching capital of South Africa, and check into The Marine hotel for a two-night stay.

- Day 7
Hermanus
You'll have the morning free to wander around Hermanus on your own. The coastal walking paths here are worth checking out, and there are some nice shops and galleries if you want to browse. After lunch, you'll head into the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley where you'll visit two wine estates for tastings. The local wines are quite good, so bring your appetite for trying a few different styles. You'll make your way back to Hermanus by evening, leaving the rest of the night open to relax however you'd like, whether that's grabbing dinner somewhere or just taking it easy at your accommodation.

You'll arrive in Plettenberg Bay, which has six blue flag beaches and is known as a premier holiday destination. Check into The Plettenberg hotel for two nights and enjoy dinner that highlights local flavors and wines from the area.

Travel into the Eastern Cape to Kariega Private Game Reserve. Watch for wildlife herds as you drive through, meet your safari ranger and get a welcome drink and briefing about what to expect. Take your first safari by boat along the Bushman tidal river, then arrive at the luxury tented camp. After lunch, you'll head out on your first game drive to see what animals are around.

- Day 11
Kariega Safari
Start before sunrise with a game drive or guided bush walk where your ranger will teach you tracking and spotting techniques. Your ranger knows the reserve inside and out and understands every animal's habits, so you'll have good chances to see wildlife. Back at the lodge for lunch and some downtime. In the late afternoon, head out for another game drive, then gather for a sundowner drink in the bush to talk about what everyone spotted. Return to the lodge for a 5-star dinner.

Kariega Safari

The night ends with a Farewell Boma Dinner under the stars featuring local specialties.

One final game drive this morning before you leave Kariega. Then you'll travel to Port Elizabeth Airport to catch a flight to Johannesburg. You'll stay near the Johannesburg airport overnight since your flight to Victoria Falls leaves early the next morning.

Johannesburg to Victoria Falls
Fly to Zimbabwe and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River watching the light change over the water. After that, you're free to spend the rest of the evening however you'd like, maybe having dinner and relaxing at your hotel.

- Day 15
Victoria Falls
Take a guided walk at Victoria Falls, which is called Mosi-oa-Tunya meaning 'the smoke that thunders'. Your guide will share the history and facts about the local plants and wildlife while you get plenty of photo opportunities. You'll have free time late morning and into the afternoon to explore on your own and see what else interests you.

Johannesburg Departure
Fly back to Johannesburg for your onward journey home. Your scheduled flight will depart after 7:30 pm, so you'll have time to get to the airport and complete check-in.
