Singapore to Bangkok

Bangkok

Kanchanaburi

Drive through green countryside toward Sukhothai, Thailand's 13th-century former capital. Stop at Bhunyakiri Sri Suvarnabhumi, a spiritually significant site, and then Wat Tha Sung with its Crystal Sanctuary, a 100-meter hall completely covered in mirrors. Dinner is provided at your resort this evening.

Later in the evening, your tour director takes you on a tuk-tuk ride through Chiang Mai's night market, where vendors sell noodle soup, pork congee, dumplings, and coconut ice cream.

Chiang Mai
Travel to Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary for rescued and orphaned elephants established in the 1990s. You'll interact with and learn about the elephants, then have lunch at the sanctuary. After, return to Chiang Mai to visit Wat Phra Singh with its revered Buddha statue and Wat Doi Suthep in the mountains. You can either take a tram or walk the Naga staircase with over 300 steps to reach the temple.

Chiang Rai
See Wat Rong Khun, known as the White Temple, which combines traditional Buddhist design with modern touches. Drive to Mae Sai, Thailand's northernmost town, to visit the Hall of Opium. Then head to the Golden Triangle viewpoint where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet. On your way back to Chiang Rai, tour the Choui Fong tea plantation with guided walks through tea fields and tea tastings. Your tour director hosts a farewell dinner this evening.
