You'll arrive at Rome airport and get transferred to your hotel. From there, the rest of the day is yours to wander around Rome at your own pace, get oriented, and start soaking in the city.

Rome
This morning you'll have a 24-hour hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus ticket to get around Rome. You can hit the big landmarks like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain whenever you want throughout the day.

- Day 3
Rome to Sorrento
After breakfast, you'll join a shared tour heading to Pompeii. There's a traditional lunch at a local restaurant included, and then you'll explore the ruins that were buried by Mount Vesuvius back in 79 AD. Later you'll travel to Sorrento for dinner and stay the night there.

Sorrento to Capri
Following breakfast, you'll join a shared organized tour to Capri. You'll travel by passenger ferry with nice coastal views, then do a guided boat tour around the island. The funicular ride to Piazza Umberto I is included, and you'll have free time to shop or sit at a café. By evening you'll head back to Sorrento.

Sorrento to Amalfi
After breakfast and checking out, you'll join a shared half-day tour along the Amalfi Coast. You'll see the cliffside towns that line this coast, then check into your hotel on the Amalfi Coast for the evening.

Amalfi Coast
You've got three full days here to explore the Amalfi Coast however you like. Walk through colorful lanes, visit Positano and Ravello, take boat tours to Capri or the Blue Grotto, try the Path of the Gods hike, join a cooking class, or just relax on the beach with seafood and wine.

Amalfi to Rome
You'll transfer to Salerno and catch a train back to Rome. When you arrive, you'll get transferred to your hotel and have the evening free to spend however you want in the city.
