We didn't have to worry about paying for food on our trek up to Dhaulagiri and back to Kathmandu. The fee we paid covered everything (except additional drinks and snacks along the way). Guides were the best and they knew all the mountain peaks, all the best routes, and all the best places to eat and sleep. They made sure that we were safe and sound the entire time in Nepal. - TPTatyana· June 18th, 2022I just finished the trek to Dhaulagiri which was GREAT TREK! We had best Sherpa guide and he was terrific. Excellent knowledge of the area, the Himalayas. The only thing is when you trek in mid-February it is cold, be prepared and pack accordingly. But overall a phenomenal time, the sun was shining every day and none of us got altitude sickness. From our arrival in Kathmandu, everything was well coordinated; a ride to the hotel, ..can’t say enough how great that is! Our guide, prepared us for the day to day plans. Meals were well coordinated (food is good!) and tea houses (lodges) were well kept and comfortable (contrary to some you-tube videos we saw). We learned from our guides about the Nepali culture, wildlife, way of life and of course, the incredible mountain peaks we saw on our journey. Breathtaking beauty (and altitude). We met people from all over the world along the way, learned some great new card games as we kept warm together in the evenings in the common rooms. Our guide, with his caring and funny attitude our porters with their perseverance and physical strength and my beautiful trekking companions. - AAzian· November 6th, 2019My partner and I had booked a trekking tour through Sherpa Expedition and Trekking which was supposed to start on a certain date, however when we were due to arrive in Kathmandu, there had been a minor place crash in Kathmandu airport which closed it for 4 days. We were worried that we weren't able to make the trip or that our trip would be cut short, but we were ensured that our trip would remain the same when we arrive. Since we were stuck in transit for 4 days we had very limited access to communication, which made us quite worried as emails weren't replied as quickly as we'd hoped. We arrived at the airport at 12 at night to which it took us 2 hours to get our luggage. As we had no real means to communicate that we had arrived, we were worried that we'd have to find our own transport and accommodation for the night. Luckily we found our guide in among st the crowd outside still waiting for us and were taking to our hotel for the night. From then on it was all smooth sailing, the tour guide was great, informative and was helpful when needed.
