    Your flight to Chengdu gets you there with time to settle in. Once you land, grab your travel guide and start reading up on what's coming. It's a good chance to mentally prepare for the next couple weeks and get familiar with the basics before things kick off tomorrow.

  2. Day 2

    Chengdu

    Your guide meets you in Chengdu and you'll start with the relaxed side of the city. People's Park is first, where locals hang out with tea and mahjong games. From there, you'll walk through Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi district with its traditional teahouses, boutique shops, and old Qing-style buildings tucked into narrow alleyways.

    Kaili
