Itinerary
- Day 1MarrakechYou'll arrive in Marrakech and meet your driver at the airport for the transfer to your Riad. After you get settled in, it's time to walk through the vibrant medina with your local guide, checking out the colorful souks and the busy Jemaa el-Fnaa Square where street performers and vendors fill the space. Dinner happens at your Riad, and you'll spend your first night there getting oriented to the city. - Meals

- Day 2Marrakech to EssaouiraFollowing breakfast, you'll dig deeper into Marrakech's cultural side with visits to the Koutoubia Mosque, the ornate Bahia Palace, and Ben Youssef Madrasa. From there, you head west toward the Atlantic coast, stopping at a women's Argan Oil cooperative to see how they work with the oil traditionally. You'll roll into Essaouira by late afternoon with free time to wander the UNESCO World Heritage medina, poking around art galleries and the whitewashed streets. - Meals

- Day 3Essaouira to CasablancaYou'll travel up the Atlantic coastline toward Casablanca, passing through Safi and stopping in El Jadida to check out the impressive Portuguese cistern from the 16th century built underground. After that, you continue on to Casablanca where you might visit the Hassan II Mosque if time works out, or save it for the morning. Dinner and your overnight stay happen in Casablanca. - Meals

- Day 4Casablanca - Rabat - ChefchaouenAfter breakfast, if you didn't see the Hassan II Mosque yesterday, that's first on the agenda today. Then you head north to Rabat to explore the Kasbah of the Udayas with its blue and white streets and views out over the ocean. The drive continues into the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl. You'll grab lunch at a local spot before reaching the blue-painted town and settling into your Riad for the evening. - Meals

- Day 5Chefchaouen - FesThis morning you have free time to explore Chefchaouen's blue streets at your own pace, relaxing in Outa el-Hammam Square, visiting the Ras el-Maa waterfall, or climbing up to the Spanish Mosque for views across the town. After a couple hours, you head back to your Riad and then continue toward Fes with a stop in Meknes to see its historic gates and architecture. You'll have dinner and spend the night in a traditional Riad in Fes. - Meals

- Day 6FesToday you navigate Fes with your local guide, walking through the medina which is one of the largest and oldest in the world. You'll see the Royal Palace gates, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. The Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University come next, then you wander through spice markets, Al Attarine Madrasa, the Jewish Quarter, pottery workshops, and the Chouara Tannery. Dinner and rest follow in your Riad. - Meals

- Day 7Fes to MerzougaYou leave Fes early and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. There's a stop in Ifrane, known for its Swiss-like architecture, then you drive through cedar forests near Azrou where you might spot Barbary monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, you continue through the Ziz Valley with its palms and fortified villages before reaching Merzouga at the Sahara's edge. As the sun sets, you take a camel ride through the dunes, then settle in at your Berber tent camp for dinner, local music, and stargazing. - Meals

- Day 8MerzougaYou wake early to catch the sunrise over the sand dunes. Following breakfast, a 4x4 tour takes you deep into the Sahara to visit nomadic Berber communities and remote oases, seeing how rocky terrain shifts into expansive dunes. For lunch, you can choose between a picnic in the desert or a home-cooked meal with tea at a Berber family's home. Later in the afternoon, you relax, take photos, or climb a tall dune to watch the sunset, then return to your desert camp for another night. - Meals

- Day 9Merzouga to Dades ValleyAfter breakfast, you leave the Sahara behind and head back toward the Atlas Mountains. Passing through Tinghir, you learn about ancient irrigation systems that local farmers still use. The Todra Gorge comes next with its towering rock walls and shallow river that draws climbers and hikers. You continue on to Boumalne Dades where the landscape changes to deep valleys, winding roads, and dramatic rock formations. The night is spent in a guesthouse in the Dades Valley. - Meals

- Day 10Dades Valley to MarrakechYou begin the journey back to Marrakech with a stop in Ouarzazate, Morocco's film capital where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. Atlas Studios is an option if time allows. From there, you drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which offers views at every turn. You'll arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon where your tour finishes, and you can check back into your Riad or head straight to the airport based on your plans. - Meals
