- MDMark· July 3rd, 2022This trip was short but very well organised with plenty of things packed in. Our drivers Nidal and Qutaibah were polite, helpful and knowledgable, they got us to our sites quickly and safely. Being left to explore sites on our own at our own pace was perfect for me. If you want to see a slice of Jordan without a long stay then I highly recommend booking this trip.Show moreTrip date: June 2022
- AGAnnabelle· February 8th, 2022Guides were fantastic, especially Jafar who got up early so we could leave Wadi Rum at 5am. Always calm, friendly and full of interesting information. Great driving got us everywhere on time. Nothing too much trouble. Can't speak highly enough of them.Show moreTrip date: February 2022
- Avina· December 28th, 2021It was good. We paid twice as much $449 as others in the group $249 because we booked months in advanced. Those who booked a week or two before were able to get it for much less. Apart from that, the tour is very private as compared to more group like. The driver was very nice and prompt. He understood our request and even kept us entertained on the long drives. Mr. Q was his name and it was a pleasure having him escort us. The trip was organized properly, we saw everything we needed and did not feel rushed. I would recommend an HR or two for more time in Petra as we didn't had time to see the monastery. The hotel we stayed at in Amman was very nice. Overall it was good.Show moreTrip date: November 2021

- Kim· October 10th, 2021No information was giving on what we were doing daily or what we needed untill very last minute while doing the event. Tour guide was more like a driver than a tour guide, you do the tour yourself more than learn from him. He knew just basic info that any Jordan citizen would know. Also you have to be a great English listener to understand him, not very clear English. From the tour company, no information on what we needed or how much things would cost. I was blindsided by the costs of sites, especially the cost of the Dead Sea because the entrance fee was actually to the hotel we were going to. I also had to tell the driver the itinerary, seemed like he never knew what was going on- yet he was our guide to everything. Our guide consistently spoke about things we “could” have done when at a site but because we don’t have time(the company made this itinerary and choose the number of days, not us) that they couldn’t be done. Well I feel like that is obvious, I think he spent too much time speaking of things we couldn’t do rather than details of what we were doing. I was oblivious everyday of the tour on what was going on, even though I have read the itinerary many times. Basically this tour is for someone who knows information about all the sites before hand and does not care to be informed during tour, someone who is okay with being blindsided by costs and details of what you need, and someone who would rather just have a driver take you around. For the total cost I think you can just hire a driver and do it yourself.Show moreJordan Private Tours and Travel commented on this reviewThe main cause of client unsatsifcation actually came form the fact that he / she things the driver is a guide ! while the fact is that this tour is led by a driver who speaks fair to good English , but he is NOT a tour guide , and local tour guides... - HKHannah· February 21st, 2020I absolutely loved my experience on this tour! A few reasons why this was the perfect tour for me are: 1. There are no extra charges for a solo traveller - as far as I can see it's the ONLY company offering this in Jordan. This made it really affordable and welcoming. 2. Ja'far our tour guide was simply excellent. He went above and beyond every single day, including taking photos in wadi rum, giving tips on how to get the best deals for food, souvenirs etc, as well as crucial things to watch out for when visiting attractions like when you don't need to pay extra for another guide. 3. We fitted a lot of the top attractions in within a short period of time - without it feeling rushed. A really well thought out itinerary to make the most of your time in Jordan. 4. It felt like a personal experience. On the first day, we finished early due to great traffic conditions, so on our way to the accommodation Ja'far took us to another attraction we could enter on our Jordan pass. This flexibility gives it a full 5-star review from me. I would recommend anyone to go on this tour for a full Jordanian experience with a fantastic guide!Show moreTrip date: February 2020
- Megan· February 9th, 2020Best of Jordan three day tour: Fantastic tour with Jafar seeing the best of Jordan. Started with pick up and tour of Jerash and aljoun castle. Then overnight stay in a lovely hotel with a good breakfast buffet. Then off to Petra and wadi rum. Petra was fantastic but timing was a little tight as it’s winter and get less time there than summer. Wadi rum camp was great (but quite cold as winter). jafar and the boudin men were very welcoming and hospitable with traditional dinner and breakfast. They were very entertaining with some great dance moves and riddles from jafar. We then went on a Jeep tour of wadi rum the last morning with Jafar who is very knowledgable about the terrain. Last stop was the Dead Sea which due to it being winter and cold we jumped in to experience it and got quickly back out. The tour was fantastic but the main reason for this was Jafar (in addition to Jordan being a beautiful country). Jafar was so approachable and knowledgable about the tour and Jordan. He highlighted exactly what would be happening with timings and gave very helpful tips. He has a great sense of humour and makes the trip. Many thanks see you tomorrow.Show moreTrip date: February 2020

Asked on November 14th, 2022Is there a US-based phone number I can call to ask questions? I am looking for a 3-day tour for 3 people. We are planning on flying in to Amman on Jan 2. What does the itinerary look like if we have pick-up from the airport on Jan 2? Alternatively, what does the tour look like if we choose to be picked up on Jan 3? Most important for us is to be able to spend time exploring Petra, have authentic experience in Wadi Rum. We want to see some important historical sites along road. We do not like shopping.

Asked on March 20th, 2022The tour states that I will be guaranteed my own accommodation if I'm solo/ single traveler. So does that mean it's not needing to buy the single supplement?
- Jordan Private Tours and TravelOperator•Written March 2022
As solo traveler when you book the tour the system will ask you for single supplement in order to have single room at Petra and Wadi Rum
- S
Stacey
Traveler•Written March 2022Then why on the description of the tour under accommodation does it say that I will be guaranteed my own room at no additional cost? It's confusing
- Jordan Private Tours and TravelOperator•Written March 2022
If you paid for the single supplement you will be in single room at Amman and single tent at Rum, but without paying the extra charges for accommodation as solo traveler you can not complete your booking. Tour price for one person 249 US$ + 250 US$ extra for single accommodation = 499 US$
