Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Canada
The hotel shuttle will pick you up from the airport and drive you to your accommodation. Your German-speaking assistant meets you in International Arrivals between 1 and 4 pm. By evening, you'll connect with your tour guide and the rest of the group at the hotel for a quick orientation.
- Day 2
Badlands & Royal Tyrrell Museum
You'll drive through Alberta's prairies and grain fields toward the badlands. Stop at Horseshoe Canyon to see the layered landscape created by wind and water over millions of years. The Royal Tyrrell Museum lets you walk through displays of fossils from 35+ dinosaur species. After that, an easy walk through Willow Creek's hoodoos shows off those tall sandstone pillars with their distinctive capstones reaching 5 to 7 meters.

Calgary & Banff
Calgary's city tour covers the oil and gas industry center while showing its cowboy roots. From there, you'll drive to Banff and its national park with mountains and a cute town center. A gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain gives you views across the Rocky Mountains. You'll stay at a central Banff hotel for the night.

Lake Louise, Yoho National Park & Icefield Parkway
Lake Louise sits surrounded by those towering Rocky Mountain peaks. The route takes you over Kicking Horse Pass into Yoho National Park. Stop at the Spiral Tunnels to watch long freight trains maneuver the Big Hill, then see the Natural Bridge and Emerald Lake. The Icefield Parkway drive leads to The Crossing Resort near Mount Wilson where you'll spend the night.

Columbia Icefield, Jasper & Mount Robson
Following the Icefield Parkway, you'll stop at Columbia Icefield for a walk. Maligne Canyon in Jasper National Park shows waterfalls, cave-like channels, and bridges. The route crosses into British Columbia at Yellowhead Pass and passes Mount Robson (3,954 meters), the Canadian Rockies' highest peak. Tonight's accommodation is rustic chalets near Eleanor Lake in Blue River.

Blue River, Wells Gray Park & Sun Peaks
A guided canoe trip takes you deep into moose and bear country. From there, jet boats transport you across river deltas where you'll spot wildlife. Wells Gray Park, with its 39 waterfalls, comes next. The day ends with a drive uphill to Sun Peaks resort for the night.

Vancouver City Tour
You'll drive the Coquihala Highway toward Vancouver. The city tour covers Gastown and its famous steam clock, Chinatown, the busy Robson Street, Canada Place, and Stanley Park with its totem poles. There's plenty to see in this Pacific-facing city.

Vancouver Free Day
This day is completely yours. Your central hotel location means most places are walkable. Rent a bike, take the Aqua Bus to Granville Island's market halls, or book an optional excursion like the Capilano Suspension Bridge or a whale watching catamaran tour.
