Cologne
You'll get settled into your cabin and explore the ship at your own pace. There's a Welcome Cocktail reception where you can meet other passengers, followed by a special Welcome Dinner. The ship departs at 5:00pm and heads toward Rüdesheim, so you'll want to be back on board before then.

Mainz
Start with a leisurely walk through Mainz in the morning and check out the Gutenberg Museum if that interests you. After lunch, head to the Eulchen Brewery to see how they make their beer and learn about the brewing process. The ship leaves at 6:00pm, so plan your timing accordingly.

Strasbourg
You'll arrive in Strasbourg around lunchtime. The old town is there to explore on your own, and if you prefer a guided experience, you can join an optional tour bus that covers the main sights. Before heading back, grab something to eat since the ship departs at 6:00pm heading upriver.

Basel
Dock in Basel early at 8:00am on New Year's Day. Take an optional morning walking tour if you want to see Switzerland's third-largest city with a guide, or just walk around on your own. By evening, there's an elegant New Year's dinner on board, and you'll celebrate midnight with champagne when the clock strikes twelve.

Basel
After celebrating last night, today is about taking it easy. The ship leaves Basel at 9:00am and travels downriver while you relax. Spend your time in the Panorama Bar or the AMADEUS Club, enjoy the food, and recover from all the New Year festivities.

Mannheim
Speyer is your first stop, docking from 2:00am to noon. There's a morning walk through the city if you want to see it. After that, you'll head to Mannheim (arriving at 2:00pm and staying until almost midnight). From Mannheim, you can visit Heidelberg if you're interested in seeing its famous castle and historic old town, with time for lunch in between.

Koblenz - Cologne
You arrive in Rüdesheim during breakfast at 7:00am, so there's time for a morning walk through the town. After that, the ship passes the Lorelei Rock and reaches Koblenz by 2:00pm. Explore Koblenz's old town, and there's an optional walking tour if you want one. Back on board, there's a Gala Dinner as the ship continues toward Cologne.
