The tour was exceptional - although South Africa is an incredible country, it was brought to life by our guide Sim. His combination of encyclopedic knowledge for all the factual questions we had with an emotional depth and willingness to share his views and stories of his own life in South Africa, and nuanced perspectives on politics, sport, societal inequality, truly made it a once in a lifetime trip.
