The scenery Tusheti shows you changes every day as the weather changes, so it can always be an exciting trip. However, to go to Tusheti, you should go with a local expert. With Jonah, who is well-versed in Georgian culture, history, and foreign affairs, David, who can travel the wild and vast Tusheti without a map, and Ana, who will carefully check everything from the preparation to the process and the end of the trip, your Tusheti tour will be fantastic. We stayed at hotel Kepney in Omalo, and our host was friendly and the food incredible. Friendly GeorgiaOperator•Written May 2025This is a 2-day off-road group tour that involves some hiking and long hours of driving through mountainous terrain. While the pace is relaxed and our team is always attentive to guests' comfort, it's important to understand that parts of the route are quite remote and bumpy, and there are no paved paths at some of the stops. We've had many senior travelers join and enjoy this experience — especially those with an active lifestyle — but we want to make sure expectations are well aligned. If the guest is comfortable with moderate walking and some uneven terrain, they are more than welcome to join!
