Lacepede Islands and Buccaneer Archipelago
Start with a guided Zodiac tour around the Lacepede Islands, an Important Bird Area with lots of marine birds and Western Australia's most important green sea turtle breeding habitat. After that, your ship heads to the Buccaneer Archipelago, a cluster of over 800 islands with unique wildlife.

Talbot Bay and Horizontal Falls
After arriving in Talbot Bay, you'll take a Zodiac through the Kimberley with winding rock formations and wildlife spotting. Later you get to see the Horizontal Falls where powerful currents form from the bay's 12-metre tides as water squeezes through a narrow gap between gorge walls.

Doubtful Bay, Montgomery Reef, and Freshwater Cove
Cruise through Doubtful Bay looking for whales in season. At Montgomery Reef you'll see the world's largest inshore reef dramatically rising from the ocean, and then you'll explore ancient Wandjina rock art at Freshwater Cove with a local Aboriginal guide.

Prince Frederick Harbour and Hunter River
You arrive at Prince Frederick Harbour to check out lush mangrove ecosystems surrounded by red sandstone cliffs. Watch for saltwater crocodiles, mudskippers, kingfishers and white-bellied sea eagles. Later explore the Hunter River and Naturalists Island by Zodiac.

Swift Bay Aboriginal Rock Art
Navigate through a labyrinth of islands, inlets and peninsulas believed to be named after novelist Jonathan Swift. See ancient Wandjina and Gwion Gwion rock art estimated to be 5,000 to 13,000 years old, displayed in caves close to the water's edge.

Vansittart Bay and WWII Crash Site

Koolama Bay and King George Falls
At Koolama Bay, join a Zodiac cruise along the King George River, winding through towering red cliffs and passing mangrove forests. You'll get close to the King George Falls where the river tumbles 80 metres down from sandstone cliffs.

Darwin
You arrive in Darwin and disembark your ship for the final time. Spend the afternoon on a sightseeing tour admiring the tropical capital's architecture, walk through the Botanic Gardens, and visit the Darwin Museum and Art Gallery and Royal Flying Doctor Base. Later settle into your accommodation and enjoy a Welcome Dinner with fellow travelers.

Travel to Litchfield National Park, a huge sandstone plateau with cascading waterfalls. Swim in the natural pool at Wangi Falls, check out the double waterfall at Florence Falls and wander through the intriguing magnetic termite mounds.

Kakadu National Park and Yellow Water
Head to Kakadu National Park, rich in flora, wildlife and beautiful scenery. With over 5,000 rock art sites, it's a World Heritage site listed for both cultural and natural features. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn about Indigenous heritage. Later take a Yellow Water cruise through the wetlands to see birdlife and saltwater crocodiles.

Katherine and Nitmiluk National Park
Leave Kakadu National Park and travel to the beef grazing town of Katherine. Northeast of Katherine lies Nitmiluk National Park with its spectacular gorges carved into the Arnhem Land plateau by the Katherine River. Return to your accommodation after exploring.
