Arrival in Porto
Your local representative meets you at Porto airport after you clear customs and drives you to your hotel. The afternoon and evening are free to settle in, grab a bite, or start getting a feel for the city on your own if you're not too tired from traveling.

Porto
After breakfast at your hotel, the day is yours to spend however you like in Porto. Walk through the UNESCO-listed old town where narrow streets wind between blue and white tile-covered buildings and old churches stand on corners. You could also head down to the Douro River and just hang out along the water if you want a more relaxed pace.

Landmarks/POIs Ribeira District Porto Historic Centre - Day 3
Douro Valley Tour
You'll eat breakfast early, then head to meet your guide in the city center for a full-day trip into the Douro Valley. The route takes you through Amarante to see historic sites, stops at the Galafura viewpoint, includes a traditional lunch, and features a boat ride on the Douro in a traditional rabelo. A wine estate tour with tastings wraps things up before you get back to your hotel around 6PM.

Porto
After breakfast, you have the day to wander Porto's streets and check out landmarks on your own. The Ribeira District has lots of color and character, or you could visit Livraria Lello if you're interested in the famous bookstore. There's also an optional half-day guided tour to Aveiro's canals and Costa Nova if you want to see the striped beach houses outside the city.

Porto to Lisbon
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll be picked up around 11AM for the drive to Porto train station. The tourist class train takes you to Lisbon, and once you arrive, you'll check into your hotel. The rest of the day is open for relaxing, grabbing dinner, or starting to explore the city.

Sintra Day Tour
After breakfast, you head to the meeting point for a guided tour of Sintra and the surrounding area. The day includes Pena Palace, the historic town of Sintra itself, Cabo da Roca at Europe's westernmost point, and then passes through the coastal towns of Cascais and Estoril. You'll return to your hotel around 5:30PM.

Lisbon
After breakfast at your hotel, Lisbon is yours to explore at your own pace. Or you can join an optional guided tour heading out to Fatima, Batalha Monastery, Nazare, and Obidos, where you'll see religious sites, gothic architecture, fishing town views, and a medieval village with white-washed buildings.
