- GGrantFeringa· October 25th, 2023"While both leaders Abdiel and Rafa get 5 stars and the trip itself was good, overall the trip gets a one star as Intrepid treated me very poorly and my poor treatment overshadows everything. Intrepid booked the flights to suit the start and end of the tour. After paying around $5,600 for flights to Intrepid, Intrepid then informed me that I had to pay a further $450 for one flight as there had been a schedule change and I would get no compensation for the flight that was unable to be used. This means I paid twice for one flight leg of the trip and Intrepid offered zero compensation for the unused flight. Worse, Intrepid staff could not care less, Intrepid staff said pay up or you do not travel. I had no idea that this absurd situation was possible. Do not believe Intrepid's website where they say, "Travel with confidence" and "flexible booking conditions", these statements are untrue. Beware of Intrepid".Show more
