Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid Arrival
You'll arrive at Madrid airport and connect with your driver for the transfer to your hotel. Check-in opens at 14:00, so you can settle in and get oriented. If you need an earlier check-in, just ask your driver about availability when you arrive.

Toledo and Castilla La Mancha Wine Tasting
After breakfast, head to your meeting point for an 8-hour guided tour heading to Toledo. You'll take a panoramic bus ride first, then walk up to Mirador del Valle to see the city from above. The guide takes you through the old town after that, and you'll have some time to grab lunch on your own. Later, you'll visit a winery for wine tasting and try some cured meats before heading back to Madrid by evening.

Royal Palace and Cathedral of La Almudena
After breakfast, walk to your meeting point for a 3-hour guided tour of two of Madrid's major sites. You'll go through the Royal Palace and see the Gasparini Chamber, Throne Room, and Hall of Mirrors. Then it's on to the Cathedral of La Almudena. Skip-the-line access is included for both places, so you won't waste time waiting.

Ávila and Segovia
After breakfast, an air-conditioned coach takes you to Ávila to explore its UNESCO-listed old town with Romanesque churches and Gothic palaces. You'll see the famous Walls of Ávila and visit Santa Teresa Church. From there, you'll continue on to Segovia where you'll have free time to walk around and discover the town on your own.

El Escorial and Valley of the Fallen
After breakfast, you'll take a half-day tour to El Escorial, a UNESCO site built by Philip II back in the 1500s. Inside, you'll find the royal palace with modest royal quarters, the gilded Royal Pantheon where Spanish monarchs are buried, a grand basilica, and a library holding over 50,000 ancient books. There's also an optional visit to the Valley of the Fallen for its civil war memorial and views out to the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains.

Free Day in Madrid
This day is completely yours to do what you want in Madrid. You could spend time at the Prado Museum, take a walk through Retiro Park, do some shopping on Gran Vía, or just sit at a local café and relax. With no scheduled activities, you're free to figure out what interests you most.

Madrid Departure
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the lobby for your transfer to the airport. Plan to leave the hotel about 4 hours before your flight departs to give yourself enough time for check-in and security.
