- Tatiana· August 12th, 2025Our Tour Guide Ozgur and our driver Sedat were excellent. Highly professional, extremely helpful and carrying. Pleasure to interact. They made our visit of Turkey a fantastic experience.Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Tatiana Thank you for your time to review us. Kind Regards AysegulTrip date: August 2025
- Katalin· August 1st, 2025The reason we chose this tour was based on our experience with a similar tour in Morocco. The first day itinerary takes you to the capitol where the only thing to see is a world class museum. The mausoleum of Kamal Ataturk while is significant for Turkish people, it can be easily missed. The long drive there is definitely not worth it. The second day is pretty much about the museum and the mausoleum visit, plus the underground city which was only a short welcome stop on a hot day. Third and fourth day in Cappadocia are probably the highlights is if you're lucky enough to do the hot air balloon ride. Not included in the price. The jeep ride is more for thrill seekers not worth the extra cost. Fourth and fifth days Pamukkale and Ephesus visits could be longer. Sixth day Pergamon, Troy are great. Seventh day on the drive back to Istanbul the WWI sites are interesting especially if you're from New Zeeland or Australia. Overall if I did want to do a tour of Turkey again I would chose a different itinerary and would spend time in Istanbul. Drive times were also long for frequent stops for bathroom breaks, that were rather cigarette brakes for the guides and the driver. The small bus was comfortable because of the size of the group, each person had a seat open next to them. Accommodations while they were advertised as 4 star, some were definitely way less than that. it would have been great to stay closer to the town center in Cappadocia, and maybe even in one the cave hotels. Food: breakfast and dinners were buffet style except in Ankara. Some better selections than others. The guide's English was ok for explanations given at third grade levels. I hope this review will help you make a decision to pick this tour.Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Katalin, Thank you for your detailed review. Kind Regards, AysegulTrip date: July 2025

- JBJoanna· June 26th, 2025Well organized. Didn't enjoy Ankara but understand that Ataturk is a huge part of Turkish history. The other destinations were great. Excellent driver. Guide very knowledgeable but lacked empathy.Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Joanna, Thank you for your time to review us. Kind Regards AysegulTrip date: June 2025

- Cynthia· June 6th, 2025It's overall very good. It was a small group and we all got along great. We visited a lot in a short time and hit all the important spots. The hotels were good, and the food was good too, most of the time buffets for breakfast and for lunch with a variety of choices. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, clearly passionate about history and culture. The hot air balloon was the best part of the experience - be ready to get up at 4am to watch the sunrise but totally worth it. The few things I would change: while it was interesting to visit the jewerly making place and store, the carpet making place and store, and the leather factory and store, it did feel like tourists traps and that prices were inflated. A lot of us wished we could have more time in local markets and local souvenir stores (yes they are also tourist traps but many people want to purchase small souvenirs to take home). Sometimes the explanations on site were a bit long, and some of us would have prefered to walk around and explore rather than stand there to listen. Perhaps break the group in two smaller groups and give people the choice ? As most hotels were already offering buffet for breakfast and buffet for dinner, most of us weren't that hungry for lunch yet most places were another buffet, which was too much food. Maybe quicker / cheaper places could be considered. I understand it's very hard to satisfy everyone, overall I would 100% recommend this tour, it's a good price, it's well runned, we all have to compromise when traveling in a group. I'm very happy with the trip and I would do it again.Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Cynthia Thank you very much for your time to review us. Kind Regards, AysegulTrip date: May 2025
- DPDenisa· May 27th, 2025Our guide and our driver were fabulous. By the time the tour was over we felt as if we were saying goodbye to old friends. The only thing was we spent a lot of time on the bus. For me I would have preferred to fly or take a longer tour where I could stay longer a few places. The only complaint would be the photos we paid for on the balloon ride at Cappadocia. After paying almost 50 American dollars, the photo stick we were given didn’t work Our guide was awesome and got hold of them to send us a link but when we got what was attached, there were few pictures and only of one side of the gondola where none of us were. We weren’t in any pictures. Really would have liked my money back as it was a waist. Other than that, great trip and fantastic guidesShow moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Denisa Thank you for your time to review us. Kind Regards, AysegulTrip date: May 2025

- Colleen· May 9th, 2025Our tour in Turkey was fantastic. Small group of 8 was a good size. Australian and US. Our tour guide was excellent and adjusted the tour to suit everyone's tastes. It was really relaxing and we were able to see alot of the beautuful sights. Advice to get caught with the ice cream trick where they do a trick while they're serving the ice cream and then charge you a fortune for them because you had the trick you didn't ask for. we got caught outside the Grand Bazaar !! Tge organisation of our tour was so thoroughly professionals, everytging was vooked online before we webt, tours and all possibilities were offered. Hotels were great and central. For an online company they did really well. No complaints or problems at all I woukd definitely travel with them again. Friends just returned from Shrikanka and Maldives and were also impressed 👏 👌Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Colleeni Thank you for your time to share your adventure with us. Traveler•Written May 2025Can I also ask if it's possible to meet up with the tour in Ankara at the hotel on the evening of the first day rather than drive with the group from Istanbul

Of course you can do it. Ankara Airport is far -1 hour- from the city center but there are also shuttles running (Cost approx. 7-USD p/p). The guide will find you at the dinner.
