- Cynthia· June 6th, 2025It's overall very good. It was a small group and we all got along great. We visited a lot in a short time and hit all the important spots. The hotels were good, and the food was good too, most of the time buffets for breakfast and for lunch with a variety of choices. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, clearly passionate about history and culture. The hot air balloon was the best part of the experience - be ready to get up at 4am to watch the sunrise but totally worth it. The few things I would change: while it was interesting to visit the jewerly making place and store, the carpet making place and store, and the leather factory and store, it did feel like tourists traps and that prices were inflated. A lot of us wished we could have more time in local markets and local souvenir stores (yes they are also tourist traps but many people want to purchase small souvenirs to take home). Sometimes the explanations on site were a bit long, and some of us would have prefered to walk around and explore rather than stand there to listen. Perhaps break the group in two smaller groups and give people the choice ? As most hotels were already offering buffet for breakfast and buffet for dinner, most of us weren't that hungry for lunch yet most places were another buffet, which was too much food. Maybe quicker / cheaper places could be considered. I understand it's very hard to satisfy everyone, overall I would 100% recommend this tour, it's a good price, it's well runned, we all have to compromise when traveling in a group. I'm very happy with the trip and I would do it again.Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Cynthia Thank you very much for your time to review us. Kind Regards, AysegulTrip date: May 2025
- DPDenisa· May 27th, 2025Our guide and our driver were fabulous. By the time the tour was over we felt as if we were saying goodbye to old friends. The only thing was we spent a lot of time on the bus. For me I would have preferred to fly or take a longer tour where I could stay longer a few places. The only complaint would be the photos we paid for on the balloon ride at Cappadocia. After paying almost 50 American dollars, the photo stick we were given didn’t work Our guide was awesome and got hold of them to send us a link but when we got what was attached, there were few pictures and only of one side of the gondola where none of us were. We weren’t in any pictures. Really would have liked my money back as it was a waist. Other than that, great trip and fantastic guidesShow moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Denisa Thank you for your time to review us. Kind Regards, AysegulTrip date: May 2025

The food was great . Having a small group was delightful.Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Christine, Thank you for your kind review. Hope to see you in another Eskapas trip. - Colleen· May 9th, 2025Our tour in Turkey was fantastic. Small group of 8 was a good size. Australian and US. Our tour guide was excellent and adjusted the tour to suit everyone's tastes. It was really relaxing and we were able to see alot of the beautuful sights. Advice to get caught with the ice cream trick where they do a trick while they're serving the ice cream and then charge you a fortune for them because you had the trick you didn't ask for. we got caught outside the Grand Bazaar !! Tge organisation of our tour was so thoroughly professionals, everytging was vooked online before we webt, tours and all possibilities were offered. Hotels were great and central. For an online company they did really well. No complaints or problems at all I woukd definitely travel with them again. Friends just returned from Shrikanka and Maldives and were also impressed 👏 👌Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Colleeni Thank you for your time to share your adventure with us. - JJ· May 6th, 2025The itinerary appealed to my travel interests for Türkiye, the pace was good and varied learning new civilisations and Türkiye history at every city. Cappadoccia hot air balloon ride was a highlight as well as visiting the capital Ankara’s Ataturk mausoleum. The guide we had, Nilufer, was experienced and had to navigate an unexpected day of road closure due to an annual cycling competition - she went out of her way make sure all travellers were happy with a new agenda and persevered to re-enter Ephesus three times for us despite road closures. Whilst Ephesus was historically impressive on our final try, we were recommended to a historical theatre sight off the beaten tracks in Miletus which was more impressive. Highly recommend this tour itinerary - Crown Plaza Nevşehir accommodation was exceptional. Could improve on first dinner on the first day - provide travellers with the choice of roast beef or traditional Turkish kebab as I had paid for a Turkish experience and its food. Bus could be more comfortable as we spent a great deal of time being transported from one city to the next, longest ride being 610km in one day. Be ideal to have the cushy jumbo Pamukkale (Lion) CoachShow moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi JJ, Thank you for your review and beautiful pictures. Kind Regards, AysegulTrip date: April 2025
- Robert· April 28th, 2025A great tour covering the highlights of Turkiye, at least for me! There are some good options in Cappadocia, including the hot air ballooning, which can be subject to weather, but went ahead for us and was one of the amazing highlights of this trip! Turkiye is spectacular!Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Robert, Thank you very much for your time to review us. Kind Regards, AysegulTrip date: April 2025
- Caren James· April 19th, 2025Pick up time was ridiculous, spent 2 hours in traffic getting out of Athens. They told me they would pick up at 7:30 and didn't pick up until after 8. Communication was horrible. Driver and guide spent the 2 hours getting out of Athens talking loudly to each other and the guide did not give any info about the city we were traveling through, instead yelled back and forth with driver. Took another tour in Turkey and the guide was user friendly and always told us about areas we were going through. Guide was monotone and not interesting, just factual. Driver was often not looking where he was going, looking down or looking at guide in rear view mirror. Hotels were very nice. 3 of us left the tour early because the driving was making us nauseated and the guide was not interesting enough to stay for.Show moreEskapas commented on this reviewHello Caren, Thank you for reaching out and review us. This tour is related only with Turkey and not in Greece which is probably taken with another company. It was not Eskapas Travel that organized your Greece part. - BHBianca· March 17th, 2025I went in this tour as a solo traveler. There was 11 people in total, including myself. A range of families, couples, and solos. Such a great range of diverse people and made a lot of friends. Everything was so well organised throughout the whole trip. Including hot air balloon in Cappadocia. Definitely recommend staying in a cave hotel as well! There isn’t much free time to do your own thing, but that worked well for me. I enjoyed the structure and all activities included. Our tour guide Nilufer was amazing! So much knowledge and so helpful translating to the locals for us. Highly highly recommend this tourShow moreEskapas commented on this reviewHi Bianca, Thank you for your review. Kind Regards, AysegulTrip date: March 2025

Traveler•Written May 2025Can I also ask if it's possible to meet up with the tour in Ankara at the hotel on the evening of the first day rather than drive with the group from Istanbul
- EskapasOperator•Written May 2025
Of course you can do it. Ankara Airport is far -1 hour- from the city center but there are also shuttles running (Cost approx. 7-USD p/p). The guide will find you at the dinner. Your trip document will be uploaded here 15 days to trip date with all details such as hotel names, emergency phones, etc.
