- Lesley· May 2nd, 2025I went tthe wrong time of year, the heat and humidity were almost unbearable. The guide Buddy was very organised and everything went seamlessly with no organisational issues. There was a good mix of people, single women and men and some couples. There were lots of activities but not any really must see sights, if I had known earlier I would have taken the opportunity to see the long neck hill tribes from Chaing Mai and hot air ballooning in Vang Vieng, by the time I had all the details of these activites and researched safety, etc it was too late. Intrepid apparently does not encourage those activities. The elephant expereince was amazing and the two days on a boat down the Mekong, the food was very good on the whole, and there was no problem getting vegetarian food.Show more
- Helen· May 8th, 2025China Highlights was the most amazing, memorable experience ever! Our guide, Lomg was the best. His knowledge, patience, passion and support showed no bounds. Thank you Lomg. What I will say is that this Tour is 'full on'. There were days when we didn't have time to eat anywhere and had to buy our breakfast, lunch and snacks the night before for travelling during the day. It was definitely pretty exhausting but so worth it to be able to see all the magnificent sights in Shanghai, X'ian and Beijing in such a short space of time. Highly recommend this tour.Show more
