Arrival in Vancouver
You'll get picked up at Vancouver airport and head to your hotel downtown. After you check in and settle, there's a Welcome Reception this evening where you'll meet your Tour Director and the other guests on the tour.

Today's a sightseeing tour through Vancouver's main areas, hitting the Waterfront and historic Gastown. You have options to add on activities like a hop-on, hop-off bus, Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge, or the Flyover Canada virtual experience if you want something extra.

Vancouver to Kamloops
You'll board the Rocky Mountaineer train and get settled into your carriage with large windows for viewing. From there you'll see the Fraser Valley, Coast Mountains, and Fraser Canyon as the train heads to Kamloops where you'll spend the night.

Kamloops to Jasper
Back on the Rocky Mountaineer this morning as your rail journey continues. The route follows the North Thompson River through rolling landscapes, the Monashee Mountains, Pyramid Falls, and Alberta Icefields. You'll pass Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, then cross the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Free time this evening to walk around and find dinner on your own.

- Day 5
Jasper to Banff
Spend the day exploring Jasper National Park starting with Maligne Canyon where you walk through deep rocky ravines. Later you'll drive along the Icefields Parkway, stopping at Columbia Icefield for an Ice Explorer ride on the Athabasca Glacier. Then continue south to Banff for a two-night stay.

This evening there's a western-style wagon ride along the Bow River with activities like lassoing and horseshoes, followed by a BBQ cookout with steak dinner. Banff to Emerald Lake
You'll leave Banff and head to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, known as the Jewel of the Rockies. The route continues to Emerald Lake Lodge in Yoho National Park, set among pine trees with mountain views overlooking secluded Emerald Lake with its postcard-perfect landscape.

Whistler to Victoria

Victoria
This is a leisure day to check out British Columbia's capital at your own pace. It's a Farewell Dinner where you can share travel stories with other guests. Optional whale-watching tours and horse-drawn carriage tours are available if interested.
