    Arrival in Hanoi

    You'll get picked up at Noi Bai International Airport and head to your hotel to settle in. Once you're comfortable, dinner happens at a local restaurant where you'll try authentic Northern Vietnamese food.

  2. Day 2

    Hanoi

    Start the day at Bat Trang Pottery Village where you can watch potters working and try making some ceramics yourself. After lunch, you'll walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, go through Ngoc Son Temple using The Huc Bridge, then take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. The day wraps up with a traditional water puppet show.

    Hanoi to Halong Bay

    Head out for a 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay, then board your cruise and get settled into your cabin. You'll have lunch while sailing toward Lan Ha Bay, passing Da Chong Islet with its old French lighthouse. The afternoon includes kayaking or swimming around the limestone karsts, followed by a Vietnamese cooking demonstration and dinner on the boat.

    Get up early for a quiet Tai Chi session on deck or have tea while looking at the views. After a light breakfast, you'll explore the Dark and Bright Cave by local rowing boat. Back on the main boat you'll check out, have a final brunch as the cruise heads back to port, then transfer to Hanoi.

    Phong Nha

    Spend a full day in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park exploring Paradise Cave with its large chambers and impressive stalactite formations. You'll walk along wooden pathways and have lunch at a local restaurant. Later, take a boat ride along the Son River to visit Phong Nha Cave and paddle through its river passages.
