The ship docks in Dordrecht, one of Holland's oldest cities. Amsterdam
Start your day in Amsterdam by picking what sounds good to you. Take a canal cruise that winds past those Golden Age mansions, or go on a walking tour through the historic center and see the city on foot. If you're up for something different, rent an e-bike and head out to the countryside, or take a trip to the windmills and small towns nearby. The morning works well for the canal cruise since the light's nice on the water, or if you prefer walking, the historic streets have plenty to explore. Later in the afternoon, you could catch the windmill excursion or take the e-bike out if you want to cover more ground. It really depends on what fits your pace and interests for the day.
