The itinerary included the main places of interest to a first time (or repeat) visitor to Viet Nam (I first visited 20 years ago). The local tours at each location were very enjoyable and always well organized and professionally delivered by local guides who provided both details about each location and about local history, language and culture. The overnight visit to Ha Long Bay was a highlight. Hotels were always of very good quality, comfortable and located in or close to city centres. And they all included excellent buffet breakfasts and excellent service by staff. Transport, including airport transfers, was always comfortable, safe and on time. The tour was so well organized and coordinated. Long Pham of tour operator VIetnam Tour Fun made it all operate seamlessly - he was in constant contact to ensure everything was OK.
