Venice
Start the day with a gondola ride through Venice's canals and under the ancient bridges. You can choose between a cultural tour of Dorsoduro with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, or walk to the Doge's Palace, Basilica of San Marco, and the Rialto Market instead.

Venice to Rapallo
Head to Modena for the afternoon and visit a traditional balsamic vinegar producer for a tasting and light lunch. After that, you'll walk through the World Heritage-listed city centre to see the cathedral and Romanesque architecture. Later you'll travel to Rapallo on the Italian Riviera for your two-night stay.

Rapallo
Spend the day exploring the rugged Cinque Terre coastline. The five villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazzo, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore sit along the cliffs and you can reach them by walking paths, train, or boat depending on what you prefer.

Rapallo to Florence
Travel to Portofino to see the colorful fishing village buildings overlooking the water. You'll take a scenic cruise around the bay, then head to Pisa for a guided tour of the Leaning Tower. By evening you'll arrive in Florence for your two-night stay.

Florence to Siena
