You'll arrive in Lisbon and get settled into your luxury hotel for the next three nights. Later this evening, you'll meet your Tour Director and other guests over a welcome drink to kick things off.

A guided tour takes you through Lisbon's historic Belem district, where you'll see Jeronimos Monastery, Belem Tower, and Padrao dos Descobrimentos before heading to Rossio Square. The afternoon is yours to explore the city, shop, or hop on the famous Tram 28.

Porto
Porto's 2,000-year-old streets and colorful tile-decorated buildings are yours to explore. Pick a morning Scenic Freechoice activity: a guided tour including Palacio da Bolsa or an active cable car adventure to Dom Luis bridge. Later, you'll create your own Portuguese tile masterpiece at a workshop.

Entre-os-Rios to Regua
Start your day in the quiet village of Entre-os-Rios with several options to explore the Douro Valley. You can hike the Paiva Walkways if you want something active, or tour the Quinta da Aveleda wine estate to see the vineyards and production. Historic Guimarães is another choice if you prefer wandering through a town with character. By afternoon you'll cruise down to Regua, and then head to the Douro Museum to learn about the region's wine history and culture.

Your morning gives you choices for how to spend your time. Check out Varosa Valley and the Monastery of Saint John of Tarouca, or visit a family-run olive oil quinta to see how they work, or explore other regional experiences in the area. After you have lunch onboard the cruise, the afternoon opens up with different activities. You could see Lamego's baroque architecture, head to Mateus Palace, or try a Port wine blending class if you want something hands-on.

Regua to Vega de Terrón
You'll spend the day cruising through the Vinhateiro wine region, passing terraced vineyards and traditional red-roofed farmhouses. This World Heritage area was the first demarcated wine region established in 1756. You'll arrive in Vega de Terron this evening.

Vega de Terrón to Salamanca or Freixo de Espada à Cinta
This morning you'll wake up in Vega de Terrón right at the Portugal-Spain border. You have two main options for the day. You can spend the full day in Salamanca, a university town with two cathedrals and a local market to walk through. Or you can explore Freixo de Espada à Cinta, a small charming village where people still process handcrafted silk by hand like they have for generations. If you choose the village, you'll tour the silk museum and visit a quinta for tastings.

Pocinho to Pinhão
You're starting in Pocinho, which is home to the Douro Railway terminus from 1887. The morning offers a choice between two activities. Visit the Côa Valley Museum and participate in a prehistoric rock art workshop, or spend time in the Côa Valley villages where you can see everyday life, stop at Casa Painova estate, and watch a demonstration of how sugared almonds get made. After that, you'll relax aboard the cruise as it heads south to Pinhão for the afternoon.

Pinhão
From Pinhao, surrounded by terraced vineyards, you'll transfer to the charming village of Provesende on a plateau with great views. There you'll wander through the village, visit the church, discover the old bakery, and tour the historic manor house Morgadio da Calcada. The afternoon gives you Scenic Freechoice options: kayak on the Pinhao River, hike through vineyards, or do a vineyard tasting.

You'll have leisure time as you cruise back to Porto along the Douro River. This evening, take a short walk (with some stairs) to Sao Francisco Church for an exclusive classical concert in this 13th-century Gothic church with its gold-swathed altar.

Porto

The afternoon is free to explore Porto. Later, enjoy an illumination cruise past Porto's six bridges before your farewell dinner on the ship.
