Your Arctic journey starts in Reykjavik where you'll board the Scenic Eclipse. The Captain and crew are there to greet you, and you'll get a welcome glass of Champagne as you settle into your suite. After you've had time to explore your cabin, head up to the Sky Bar to meet other guests for drinks and get ready for what's ahead.

Westfjords
You'll sail through the remote Westfjords toward Dynjandi Waterfall, which locals call 'the thunder' because of how it crashes down seven tiers over 100 metres. Watch the water carefully for wildlife while you take in one of Iceland's most beautiful waterfalls from the water.

Ísafjörður
Today you'll see Ísafjörður, the largest settlement in Iceland's Westfjords. The area has deep blue fjords and flat-topped mountains that create the backdrop. Wander past old timber-framed houses and keep your eyes open for Arctic foxes on the cliffs, seals along the coast, and whales in the ocean around you.

At Sea to Greenland
You've got a relaxing day at sea as you sail west toward Greenland. Take breakfast in your suite while watching the icy ocean from your private verandah, then explore what the ship has to offer. The Discovery Team will give lectures during the day, and the theatre has entertainment lined up for this evening.

Fridtjof Nansen Peninsula, Greenland
You'll arrive at the Fridtjof Nansen peninsula in the Sermersooq municipality where the Greenland Ice Sheet flows right down to the shore. From here your seven days of Arctic adventures start, with whale watching, kayak excursions, and polar plunges on the schedule.

Landmarks Greenland Ice Sheet Umivik Bay - Day 6
Skjoldungen Fjord, Greenland
Navigate through Skjoldungen Fjord, where calving glaciers, towering rock walls, and colourful forests create an incredible backdrop. The Discovery Team will point out huge crevasses and freestanding ice pillars while sharing information about archaeological remains that go back more than 4,000 years.

Prince Christian Sound, Greenland
You're heading through Prince Christian Sound, one of Greenland's most scenic waterways. This naturally formed passage stretches over 100 kilometres and is flanked by magnificent glaciers and granite cliffs. Access to this narrow route only happens during summer when the ice blockades melt.

At Sea

Nuuk, Greenland
You'll arrive in Nuuk, Greenland's capital and largest city. People have lived here since 2200BC, though it took its present form in 1728. A guided tour takes you through the Old Harbour with its colourful wooden buildings, and you'll see Northern Lights-inspired architecture before exploring restaurants that serve local recipes.

Disko Bay, Greenland

You wake in Ilulissat, the Iceberg Capital of the World and home to the World Heritage-listed Ilulissat Icefjord. The glacial landscapes are dramatic, and you'll hear the rumbling sounds of calving ice from the Sermeq Kujalleq Glacier, one of the world's fastest moving and most active glaciers.

Your last full day aboard is time to relax while cruising the waters of West Greenland. Towering cliffs and serene waters create the backdrop.
