Oslo
You've got another day to explore Oslo at your own pace. The Fram Museum has polar expedition ships on display, and the new Munch Museum is worth a visit if you're into art. After that, you could grab lunch somewhere and just walk around the neighborhoods. For structured activities, you can book a 2-hour fjord cruise that takes you past scenic islands and landmarks, or join a 3-hour cycling tour that covers the city highlights and gives you fjord views along the way.

Oslo to Geilo
After breakfast, head to the car rental office in central Oslo to pick up your rental car. The drive to Geilo through Hallingdal Valley takes about 3 hours and 15 minutes, so you'll get there mid-afternoon. Once you arrive, you can explore either Hallingskarvet National Park if you prefer rugged mountain terrain and hiking, or Hardangervidda if you want to experience vast highlands and more open wilderness. Either way, you'll have time to settle in and get a feel for the area.

Geilo to Eidfjord
Today you'll drive the famous Hardangervidda Scenic Route heading toward Eidfjord. The drive takes you through highland plateaus with dramatic mountains and quiet lakes all around you. Make stops to see the Hardangerjøkulen glacier and Vøringsfossen waterfall, which is one of Norway's most well-known. The small villages and green valleys along the way are nice to drive through, and you can take photos or stretch your legs whenever you want during the route.

Eidfjord to Bergen
After breakfast, consider visiting the Hardangervidda Nature Centre if you want to learn more about Norwegian nature and the National Park itself. From there, you'll drive toward Bergen and stop at Steinsdalsfossen waterfall along the way, where you can actually walk behind the water if you're interested. Once you reach Bergen, drop your rental car at Bergen Airport and catch the included Flybussen shuttle bus into the city centre to check into your hotel. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to relax or wander around.

Bergen
This is a relaxed day to explore Bergen on your own schedule. Head through Bryggen, the historic UNESCO-protected port area with its traditional wooden buildings and the fish market where you can grab lunch. The Floibanen funicular takes you up Floyen mountain to about 320 meters elevation, where you'll get views of the city, mountains, and coastline with walking trails available at the top. Alternatively, join a 3-hour food and culture walk that covers Bergen-style seafood, street food, traditional fish dishes, dessert, and local craft beer or spirits.
