Itinerary
- Day 1
Easter Island Arrival
You'll touch down at Easter Island Airport and get greeted with a traditional flower necklace before heading to your hotel. Once you've settled in a bit, the afternoon takes you out on 'The Twilight of the Moai' tour. You're visiting Ahu Hanga Kioe and Ahu Tahai, two significant archaeological sites along the west coast. The tour wraps up with sunset views over the restored moai statues, which is a nice way to ease into the island.

- Day 2
Easter Island Archaeological Sites
This is a full day covering most of the island's major sites with 'The Arrival of Hotu Matu'a' tour. You'll start at Ahu Akahanga, then head to Rano Raraku volcano where around 400 moai statues sit in the quarry. From there, you check out Ahu Tongariki, the island's largest restored platform. The tour includes Te Pito Kura with its famous Paro moai, and then you move on to Anakena beach where Ahu Nau-Nau sits. There's a lunch break at a local family house, and you'll have about 30 minutes of free time at the beach to walk around and relax before continuing.

- Day 3
Bird Man Legend & Ceremonial Sites
The half-day 'Legend of the Bird Man' tour takes you to Orongo ceremonial village and Rano Kau crater, which happens to be the widest and deepest on the island. You'll learn about the Tangata Manu competition through rock paintings scattered around the sites, and you'll actually climb up into the volcano. The tour also includes Vinapu archaeological site where you can walk through the ancestral village and pick up details about Rapa Nui mythology, plus how the island's geography and culture connect.

- Day 4
Central Island Archaeological Sites
Another half-day option that focuses on different aspects of the island. You'll see Ahu Akivi, a platform with 7 moai that honor the first explorers, then move to Puna Pau where red scoria headdresses were quarried, and that spot also gives you panoramic views of the village. The last stop is Ana Te Pahu, an ancient volcanic lava tube that people used as a dwelling and refuge. Along the way, you'll learn how astronomy influenced where and how the moai were positioned.

- Day 5
Departure from Easter Island
You'll have breakfast at the hotel before checking out. The morning is completely free so you can do whatever you want, whether that's resting at your hotel or taking a final walk around town. After that, it's time to head to Mataveri Airport for your flight back to Santiago.
