Itinerary
- Day 1
Lagos
You'll arrive at Murtala Mohammed International Airport where representatives will be waiting for your transfer to Lagos Intercontinental Hotel. After checking in, your guide will walk through the week's itinerary and let you know what to expect from the activities ahead.

Lagos to Badagry
This morning after breakfast, you'll head west along the coastal road toward Badagry, a historic port near the Benin Republic border. There you'll walk through the Badagry Slave Route, seeing the old slave market, Slave Trade Museum, Seriki Abbas compound (the slave baracoons), and Gberefu Beach. You'll grab lunch before returning to Lagos and checking back into your hotel.

Lagos to Abeokuta to Ibadan
After breakfast, you'll travel toward Ibadan but first stop in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State and home to the Egba people. You'll climb Olumo Rock and walk through Itoku Market where traditional Adire indigo-dyed textiles and fetish stalls with traditional medicine items fill the stalls. Lunch happens at Obasanjo Library Complex, then you'll continue on to Ibadan and check into your hotel.

Ibadan to Ile-Ife to Oshogbo
Starting after breakfast, you'll leave Ibadan for Oshogbo with a stop in Ile-Ife, which is considered the cradle of Yoruba civilization. There you'll see the Palace of the Ooni, the Ile-Ife Museum, the statue of Queen Moremi Ajasoro, and the historic Oranmiyan monolith. You'll also join the elders in a sacred garden for a drink and ablution ceremony. From there you'll head to Oshogbo to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site Osun Sacred Grove with its forest, river, sanctuaries, and shrines dedicated to goddess Osun.

Oshogbo to Erin-Ijesha to Lagos
You'll spend a few hours at Erin-Ijesha Waterfalls (also called Olumirin Waterfalls), a historic site in Osun State that dates back to 1140 AD. After exploring the waterfalls, you'll head back toward Lagos and check into your hotel.

Lagos City Tour
Following breakfast, you'll take a comprehensive Lagos city tour. Start at NCF Lekki Conservation Centre with its nature reserves, boardwalks, Skywalk Canopy, and wildlife. Next you'll check out Lekki International Craft Market for handmade arts and souvenirs, then the Nike Art Gallery and Cultural Centre, the largest private art gallery in West Africa. Later you'll visit the National Museum of Lagos on Lagos Island to see over 8,000 years of Nigerian history. The afternoon includes Brazilian Quarters and the Brazilian Architecture Church, Tinubu Square, Lagos National Mosque, Balogun Market, and the Kalakuta Republic Museum dedicated to Fela Kuti. The evening is yours to relax.
