We had a tour organised based on our requirements. And Ajmal one of the co founders of the company did a fantastic job in accomodating our requirements. As it was early part of the season, some places were still closed. The tour itself was very well organised, throughout. And planned before we even arrived to pakistan. I contacted over 6 companies initially and exploria far exceeded all expectations. We manage to cover nearly all the things on our iternitary. However due to bad weather we and a rearrange a couple of other things. However the reaarengments were even more exciting than what we planned originally. We tasted the local food. Mixed in with the locals too. And enjoyed some great hospitality from everyone. The hotels of choice were amazing in all the locations we stayed at. The guides were english speaking and comminucation was easy. In a very challenging enviroment the exploria team came out with flying colours.

I checked the Australian government travel advice website and also my travel insurance policy. The attached map shows the Swat Valley and Kalash Valley area to be "Do Not Travel" by my government. This means my travel insurance will not cover me if I have any accident in the area designated by my government as "Do Not Travel". Chitral and the area to the east of Chitral is fine. Is there any way to fly to Chitral to start the tour from there?

    • ExploriaOperatorWritten July 2024

We take extra precautionary measures to ensure your safety. If in case we feel any safety-related issues in any destinations, we take action beforehand and make changes in the tour itinerary by changing the route. We can take out destinations not covered by your insurance. However, being an Australian you should visit areas like Chitral, Kalash which are the face of the mighty Hindu Kush range in Northern Pakistan.
