- Day 1
London to Amsterdam
Meet your Contiki group in London and load onto the coach to start your European trip. The journey takes you through Dover where you'll cross the English Channel by ferry, landing in Calais. From there, you'll head to Amsterdam and catch an evening canal tour on the water. An included group dinner brings everyone together to kick things off.

Amsterdam
You've got the day to yourself in Amsterdam. Walk around and check out local spots at your own pace, or visit the STRAAT museum if street art interests you. Try some Dutch pancakes and stroopwafels from local vendors. There's an optional trip to Volendam, a fishing village outside the city, if you want to see something different. Later, an optional gondola cruise through the canals is available if you're interested.

Amsterdam to Rhine Valley
After leaving Amsterdam, you'll head toward Germany's wine country and the Rhine Valley. The main part of the day involves a scenic river cruise down the Rhine. You'll float past historic towns and vineyards lining the riverbanks, taking in the landscape from the boat.

Rhine Valley to Munich
Leave the Rhine Valley behind and travel through Bavaria to Munich. On the way, you'll stop in Dinkelsbuhl, a charming medieval town with cobblestone streets and half-timbered houses. Later in Munich, a guided city tour shows you the famous Glockenspiel and other highlights. By evening, you'll experience traditional Bavarian culture at a beer hall.

Munich to Venice
Depart Munich and drive through the scenic Bavarian Alps heading toward Austria. You'll stop in Innsbruck for lunch. From there, the coach continues through Trento, a charming city in the Adige Valley, before reaching Venice as the sun sets.

Venice
Spend your full day in Venice. Board a private motoscafo boat to cruise the canals toward the city center. You can choose between taking a traditional gondola ride, signing up for a gondola-riding lesson with local experts, or going on a guided food tour to try Venice's best culinary offerings.

Venice to Lucerne
Leave Venice and travel through the Lake Como region before crossing into Switzerland. You'll arrive in Lucerne, a town known for its wooden bridges and position on the lake. Visit the Wooden Chapel Bridge and the Lion Monument. If interested, an optional lake cruise gives you views of the Swiss Alps, or you can spend time tasting Swiss chocolate.

End your final evening with an optional dinner and show at the Moulin Rouge.
